CPU/Mobo MotherBoard for 3rd gen i5 - Suggestions required

Hello Experts,

My motherboard(3yrs old) Asus P8H77-M LE recently stopped working, iam finding difficulties for a suitable replacement.
Processor : i5 3rd gen
GFX : 750ti 2gb

Can i use a cheap MOBO and still get the desired result for gaming.
Kindly suggest.

You may get away with H61 based motherboard on cheaper side. This should cost you less than 4k.

You will loose out on few ports/slots. It would have same 2 slots for RAM as your current one. However PCI slot won't be there. SATA ports would be 4 opposed to 6 of current. I am referring to this model.
 
Better to go in for a b75 chipset mobo you will get usb 3.0 4 Ram slots at nominally more , you may find one used also with some warranty left, as far as performance is concerned, you will not feel any major difference at all gaming with a single graphics card
 
Stick to B75 board, but if unable to get one, go with H61. You may also get Z68/Z77 boards cheap. Depends on your luck and if stock clearance is occurring.
