Amazon India lightning deals

A strange thing happened just now. Placed an order with a couple of items and made the total bill more than Rs.6000. Paid using my HDFC card.

After placing the order, saw that I had received a promotional discount of Rs.1019 on the Adidas Duramo 77 M. I logged out of my account and went to the product page of this item but could not see any discount. It is showing Rs.3399 only. But in my bill, I paid only Rs.2379 only. (This is a steal for that price)

Try your luck guys.

BTW got free 2day Prime shipping specifically for this item. Rest of the items are showing as standard shipping even though all have been bought from Cloudtail only and I have Prime membership.

HDFC one is cashback. I will receive the cashback in January 2017.
The discount which I got was instant. It was applicable even before I could complete the payment. So this is definitely not the HDFC cashback offer.

Last yr too I had bought during such a sale and the cashback reflected in my credit card statement a few month's later.

Yes it is. Both WD elements and ultra are very good for daily usage. I have both, elements 1TB and ultra 1TB. I have never benched speeds, but have never faced any issues so far.
