There is an issue at farm. We are receiving low voltage at our end. We have sanctioned load of 11 kW. We talked with electric board and they said transformer is far away from your farm so you have to buy new transformer! Nd it is too expensive.
Suggest some better solutions.
Thank you.

What is your budget?
We face the same issue and thankfully I had a relative in the Electricity department. Even then he wasn't able to get us a transformer. However, we were able to get a 3-phase connection approved. Since the rest of the village is on a single phase, we won't be having any major issues with voltage on the other phases.
My Mamaji, who was in a similar predicament had to invest and buy a transformer though as that was the only solution in his case.

You can use a voltage stabilizer that should be cheap , and if that does not help , try inverters .

I mean to say a stabilizer to charge the inverter batteries , that way a steady backup with stabilised voltage , no voltage drops , also the household equipments will be safer .

I believe we had a similar issue with one of the factories @ my workplace. They too got a transformer installed - but this was before my time.

If you mention location - you might get some help from others nearby.

They're correct. Voltage Drop = Current x cable Resistance. You either use a transformer to tap into the HT line reducing current draw, or lay really thick cables to drop resistance which will be way more expensive.
But a transformer for your load shouldn't be that expensive.
How low is your voltage dropping to?

Exactly. A 25kVA Transformer is available for as low as 45k from what I found online.
One of the reasons I asked for the budget. A Voltage Stabilizer though a bit cheaper won't be a better option than a Transformer and the price difference isn't that huge.

Maintenance of a transformer is not an easy task compared to a Stabiliser and inverter setup
