Is digitalcodes.in legit for windows 10 keys?

I am thinking of buying a windows 10 OEM key from digitalcodes.in. Will the keys be legit?. Anyone here has any experience buying from them?.Thanks in advance for your response.

Will the keys be legit?

can't say as they deal with numerous keys and there's no way to verify if that's claimed in a genuine way
The key could be a stolen msdn key or a shared key via various premium subscriptions for colleges and institutions

I have heard from few people that Microsoft is taking action (imposing fine) against people who are using cracked version of windows
So there's always a risk factor if you are getting windows keys apart from the ones with which you get an installation media from an authorised store

Honestly, I don't understand the reason for buying these codes, unless you don't want to run a pirated copy, and ironically, you might end up with one!

This is not unlike a seller purchasing from Amazon during a fire sale and then trying to sell and make money on it. You never know if the item is fake. Plus, no way to get your money back. These are not physical items!

How do the sellers get these keys? Usually these keys are from MSDN/Enterprise agreements, which can be revoked without any further notice.

If you are buying for any commercial reasons, please stay away, these do not make you legally compliant.

If you are looking for home use, then please look at r/microsoftsoftwareswap, on which people from TE have bought from and have gotten minimal issues - compared to digitalcodes.in, which clearly seems suspicious, and even more suspicious reviews.

@avanildutta Might be able to help out

@superman - If you are looking for Windows 10 OEM Keys then look no further than PlayAsia.

Link - http://www.play-asia.com/microsoft-windows-10-pro-3264-bit-oem/13/709747

I bought Windows 10 Pro Retail from them back in October. Works like a charm.

A few days back the OEM version was available for less than 1K I think around 700-800 Rupees. So do keep an eye on Playasia to see if price dips again or directly go for it if you don't get a better deal elsewhere.

Also do check with @ReVo_007 first. He helped with MS Office I am sure he can help you with Windows 10.

3rd party seller though. Probably selling MSDN keys.

A windows key without a COA (certificate of authenticity) from MSFT is basically not recognized as a genuine version of windows from microsoft.

Thanks everyone for the replies.. So I will probably not try to buy from digitalcodes.in

It not about digitalcodes.in with suspicious review or https://www.scdkey.com/ with great reviews
What matters is the risk factor.
1. In most cases, you will get a working key from any source be it digitalcodes or scdkey or reddit MS Swap or some seller who claim to believed to be legit

But Are you ok if the key gets blocked at a later point of time?
Most of the positive reviews for any seller or a website are generally based on Initial impressions, if the key works they leave a positive review if it doesn't then negative. Most of them wont be giving any update if something goes wrong at a later point of time

This is unlike you getting a mobile / video card / laptop from a retailer who purchased them from a distributor or a wholesaler for a cheaper price and make money selling it for a premium. For a mobile you have IMEI and via service center you can verify its authenticity. If its Apple or a laptop or a video card we do have manufacturer support pages where we can check if the product is genuine or not
But here there's no way to verify if its authentic, be it today or tomorrow or in future. If you have no issues then its cool, if you face them then you should be ok with it.

The thing is if you are risking it, then digitalcodes, scdkey, rediff Swap, or a claimed to be legit seller are no different. You will end up getting the same product so get the cheapest deal. I personally have saved few windows 7/8/8/1/8 embedded keys when i was a part of microsoft dreamspark/imagine via my college subscription but never gave them to anyone as the dreamspark website used to say that those keys will expire in 2 years

I don't think they expire. Just 2 months ago, I needed to setup a Windows 2003 server on a 32bit only NAS. I used my 8 year old Dreamspark key and it activated :p

Well in my case its been well over a year or two... Working like a charm.. The keys both win 10 & 7 are activated, linked with my account.. Have even changed hardware.. Still no issue in my case.. Might vary from people to people or seller to seller..

I just mentioned what i have seen on dreamspark premium website
I am not using any of the dreamspark products now so can't confirm anything

All guys who want to buy Microsoft keys from websites without a COA, its highly probable your key would be rendered useless if you change your HDD, RAM etc. Although in my case it was for Microsoft Office. I purchased a key online from some retailer who claimed key to be genuine. Once I replaced HDD, Office stopped working as the key was blocked. I contacted Microsoft and they categorically said key was pirated. Basically, what Microsoft says is if you donot have a genuine MS keycard or COA, your key can be blocked anytime.

IF you want a legit key, MS has direct sales in India, just to save a few hundreds, these online dealers (in 1000s) sell wrong keys.
MS is nothing to blame on same..

I am purchasing something online for 90-95 bucks and find original company/manufacturer selling same for 100 bucks.
Will always prefer original.
