In any case Renegade said he's already been thinking about it, but hasn't had time to do so yet.

Also, I hope you opted for enough RAM so that we don't face the Low RAM issue, Tables getting corrupted or something like that.. Last time we faced such issue. @Renegade

We will upgrade when needed. Right now the peak RAM utilization for last 2 days has been 40%. Its average around 33% so we should be safe for now unless traffic increases, which is a good problem to have.

Site is definitely faster but 1 issue I am facing is, when I Google for an older thread or new for that matter, i click on the search result and choose to open via the te app and boom, the app lands on its login page rather than the requested thread

To an end user like me, a second or two here or there doesn't really matter. So India or elsewehere is meh...

But it's shocking how lackadaisical our attitudes are about liberty and privacy. Which is exactly what the govt. is taking advantage of. This is a small example of the types of systems they're setting up and most people don't even know that this is the real objective of aadhaar. And this was started by the congress govt. and modi then opposed it:

now he's saying https://twitter.com/narendramodi/status/754325750937858048?lang=en

I have seen an LIM room and server rack in a DC and it's frightening to think about their access. And the whole 'i have nothing to hide so privacy doesn't matter' is naivete at it's best.

But yeah, my internetz is faster so who cares...

There was a recent documentary short on CNN a few days ago about one such mass surveillance - some sort of sophisticated spying software used by countries like the UAE, Saudi etc and made by a Dutch company currently owned by British based BAE Systems. The system is classified as a weapon because of it's powerful and sensitive nature.
