DAC for Swans M10

I bought a pair of Swans M10 speakers from hifinage in August and have been enjoying them ever since. I want to add a DAC to my setup since I feel my laptop audio is not good enough for the speakers.

Any suggestions? My budget is under Rs. 10000 and I'm open to importing it if need be.

I doubt swans M10 will be resolving enough to require DAC upgrade.
In any case ,you could try from something portable like Fiio E10K, audioengine D1, will serve as good HP amp too.

I wouldn't bother. These computer speakers with built-in AMPs don't scale well with DAC upgrades. I have tried Chord Hugo + Z623, not much of an improvement.

Ah that's disappointing.
What about getting a sound card ?

I run my M10's with the Essence STX DAC, so if you're really curious, i can do an A/B test using that DAC vs my motherboards onboard chip (ALC 892) if i do get the time over the weekend.

I use my M10's with a cheap PCM2704 USB DAC bought from ebay. Like this:

I compared it with motherboard's (ASUS H110M-D) onboard audio and this PCM2704 is much better.
