Been using this for 1-2 weeks now and it does not give any issues in daily usage and is a power packed performer.

The only down side as rightly pointed out is the lack of space on the notification bar - because of the extended notch - so you can't seen notification icons and will have to either swipe down or refer to notification LED in the chin for any new notifications.

A minor downside to an overall well built performer.

If you are considering a sub 20k phone. .you cant go wrong with it.

What about the camera quality? Is video as bad as shown in reviews?

But who watches series on phones? laptop or a computer system is a much better choice to enjoy these series.
Exactly

Then again you could also cast to a bigger screen which is where the problem arises. This is the problem use case.

Camera is awesome. Have been using it currently for my Bhutan trip. A few snaps below
My only advice to you is stick to default camera resolution. That would be 4:3. You can always crop later instead of throwing away pixels you paid for with every photo

With the earlier comparison with the pixel i found stills to be decent. Lower light will have camera shake because of no ois but you can work around that in manual. The sensor is bigger than on some other flagships presently. In good light it will hold its own against them.

Really? As of now, only 128 is still available.

Still no sign of the elusive Red :(

Yes, Not the All color and defiantly not the Red color.
256 was available only Armored version & 64 was Black and Blue - available after 12 PM for very long time.
Even picked up one (base variant) as my trusty RN3 decided to go against me.

Boy o boy these phone manufactures they keep coming with so many phones every week , just wondering how often people buy phone in a month or 6 months? or stick to their phones for atleast 3 years or 5 ?
I doubt if people stick to a phone for more than 2 years but again there are personal preferences..

That video is utter BS!!
Nothing he says in it makes sense..
He is expecting flagship features from a mid tier phone.
Poco f1 is not xiaomi's flagship device like the galaxy or note series from Samsung in order to have features like waterproofing, NFC n such..
