Hello Everyone! I am planning to get Spotify premium family plan. However I want to subsidize my cost by inviting others in my plan and share with them so that it becomes cheap. Spotify Family plan costs 180 per month. So for a year it is 2148 plus taxes (mostly). Maximum 6 people can join as family. So the monthly cost reduces to 30 per month which is 360 (excluding taxes if any) for a year. Please let me know if anyone of you are interested in the same or not.


My criteria for people to be in the family plan
1) Member with enough feedback so that i dont get scammed. Same goes for you too. I would want you also to feel safe so please check my feedback.

2) Payment in advance. For a year. (Since I am looking for someone who wants to use Spotify for a year). Incase you want for specific months. Then inform me. I might be able to do that. But may charge little bit more for the trouble.

3) Payment by Google Pay/IMPS etc.

4) I prefer person to be from Mumbai itself.
 
Interested in doing this for YT premium (family) which includes music? I've enjoyed YT music more than spotify tbh.
 
Spotify cancels accounts on suspicion of different addresses using the account. They use GPS data to track and email users to confirm their address whenever they want to.
If checking fails, they cancel the account.

Doesnt make a difference. As I said, they use GPS data of the people who use the account. If they find it to be different locations or different activity than usual, they cancel it.

A large catalogue of songs are missing from Spotify India due to licensing feud. Plus Spotify costs ₹120 per month (single user) as compared to ₹99 for all other apps.

This look like false information too me, I have been using USA family account here in India without vpn, no issue at all for me

Are there other people in the US / India using the same account ?
They are tracking usage and if they feel to verify the address, they will. Its all based on usage location / IP's etc of users sharing the account.
Netflix is ok for now with this sort of sharing. Spotify not so much.
 
I'm in the US, and my family account is shared with my family/friends in India for over 2 years now. No issues.

I am not arguing with rules, just saying nothing like that happen yet to few of us.

While registering under family plan, they ask for address of family and after that they don't ask location service at all.
 
Ive read on reddit of people whose account got suspended so my guess is its random and luck.
To tell you the truth, even I wanted to try.
@djanuj , if you find more people, count me in. Im from Delhi just so you know and if thats ok, we can try

You can just purchase some from reddit, seller provide lifetime warranty for 150rs premium account

But i guess there's no limit for how long premium will work. Like itay work for a day or maybe months or years. But no guarantee. Yes there will be life time guarantee but not lifetime replacement

Oh believe me I have use these guys service like a lot, specially for tidal hifi and they provide replacement..

I have yet to face problem in tidal in last 7 month..
 
Hi everyone so after much deliberation i have decided to not go forward with the interest check as the risk involved is not worth it. I just bought 1 year plan for 700. Sorry for the same.
