Car & Bike Driving license issue...need help form old to new numbering format

I have an old paper base four-wheeler driving license as I got it in the yr 2005.
Never had the need to convert it in newer format as they said its still considered valid.

Today when I was filling details in Digilocker app I was clueless as to what should I enter for Driving license as my old no. wasnt recognized by it and then googled only to find that the older license nos. can be converted to new ones 16 digits format per below links..

I tried with every possible format to convert it but it keeps giving errors:

Can someone with old driving licenses help here?

I really wonder if you should display your license full public; instead of pming to someone who offers help.

I tried it worked for me . I was not even aware such thing existed . Worked fine on my wifes driving license . After conversion as per guidelines on the same page it showed correct details and wa sable to download in Digilocker
 
I guess it works only if the details of your old license have already been uploaded online. Mine didn't work either.

My license was obtained in 2005, looks similar to this:

Yeah. Mine is similar. Except it is older. It was obtained in 1998.

License was taken when I was in Chennai.
 
Will not work with digi locker/Mparivahan unless you renew your license and get the latest chip based card with new number.
