Games like FarCry.. maybe Crysis series...
FPS are at bad place now... Its all about online shooters or single player RPG type games....

Witcher 3 is a must to play of course. No one can tell you otherwise, but its not like farcry.... Before Witcher 3, watch the youtube videos on Witcher 1 and then play Witcher 2... If you can play witcher 1, nothing like it..
GTA 5 is a whole another genre altogether. Another game that no one will tell you NOT to play. Its an amazing game, go get it....

Witcher 3 is available around 400 INR on steam during sales.... Witcher 2 and 1 go for about 85 INR each during sales.... These games are at least 250 hours combined.... 50 each from 1 and 2... 100 to 150 from the third one (base content).... add 100 more hours for the expansions... I am at 177 hours in witcher 3 right now with only bood and wine to go...

Play Assassins creed too, if you can..... AC1 is a good game, but boring... so watch videos on youtube... start from AC 2...

And what are the best places to buy these games. I see them cheaper on CD Keys, Kinguin type websites compared to steam. Is it safe to buy from there.

Still playing NFS Heat. Got really bored. Too boring to up those Reps etc. Races are way too boring as well..kiddish!
BF5 is reserved for special occasion.

Want to try Far Cry New Dawn edition but this seems to be a spin-off of the ov erall series, can someone clear the air on hows the gameplay?

If it's too good to be true it usually is...

Check isthereanydeal. Com
I buy my games from many places. 90 percent of my purchases are via steam uplay origin. Then there is humble bundle. Fanatical.. Gog. Com.... Greenmangaming..... I personally stay away from the sites you mentioned..

Leave it. Its a chore. FC4 was the best for me but then from FC5 onwards it became too much of the same thing repeated over and over again.

The Division got to UbiSoft's heads and they are putting tiered loot in every game now.

Oh! Damn! You mean it's best to avoid it then.. what more options remaining in fps? Suggest..

I got FC3 Blood Dragon for amot 100 bucks. Playing that right now.

Which is a better mindless shooter between Doom and Serious Sam 3.

Also how's is Bioshock Infinite. Have played Bioshock and Bioshock 2 in the past.

Have you played Ghost Recon Wildlands?

Thats a pretty good one if you loved sneaking around bases in FC3/4 and taking out the troops without being detected.

I played the earlier two tomy clancys and those had single solo boring missions like infiltrate the house, bunglow and plane. Eiks!! . Uninstalled immediately. Literally a 90s nooby kids game!

Not this one. If you liked FC3/4 you will like this even more. Ubi doesn't really do old-timey linear games anyway after Assassin's Creed's success.
The really adddictive thing I find about the open world Ubi shooters is the bloodlust for upgraded gear.

Buy it on Steam, try it for less than 2 hours and if you don't like it ask for a refund within 2 weeks.

Bioshock infinite is a gem.... You HAVE to play it.... Gameplay mechanics may not hold up in 2020.... BUT... the journey is amazing.... And you will just love the end game... And yeah, Blood Dragon is amazing.. With that 80s soundtrack... haha

I second that.... Division 1/2, Wildlands, For Honor are good games... Breakpoint after a free update earlier this month has also become good... They changed the gameplay mechanincs and also introduced Vulkan support which should increase the performance on many systems... Its no longer a stuttery mess it once was... And, yes, they fixed the annoying coughing guy in the home base...

Completed The Shadow of the Tomb Raider (Main Story Missions, All Side Missions, All Story Tombs) and all 7 DLCs:

The Forge
The Pillar
The Nightmare
The Price of Survival
The Serpent's Heart
The Grand Caiman
The Path Home

I completed assassins creed odyssey yesterday.. The base game... Now onto the expansions... For me this is the best ac game since Ezio.. Already sunk 100 hours into it... Still have 50 hours worth of content...

Got Doom 2016 and its so much fun. Mindless action, no story line, lot of platforming, lots of exploring (finding secrets) and at the same time I can overlook the stupid dialogues and totally skip the story line. They just made the best Doom ever. As soon as I finish this I am starting with Doom Eternal. Got this for about 400 bucks. Totally paisa vasool.

Completed Evil Within 2.

EW 1 was definitely more scary but this is a fantastic game in it's own right. Ikumi Nakamura & Mikami are on a another level when it comes to designing grotesque monsters!

Completed Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and the 2 DLCs (Not a Hero & End of Zoe).

The main game was fantastic! Anyone looking to play a horror title should surely pick this up. The first hour of the game is on another level (not for the faint of heart or highly squeamish!). After that it's the classic RE exploration, puzzle solving and solid boss fights. They nailed the atmospheric gameplay in this one.

Is it any near to FEAR series?

Is it any near to FEAR series?

Nope, different. This does not play like a core FPS. This is a mix of Silent Hill and classic Resident Evil. Has very strong graphic scare elements. Almost feels like a very atmospheric, sometimes claustrophobic, gory slasher movie.

Continuing the backlog progress...
Started playing Metro Exodus today.
