Best timing and good pricing too. I would have bought it, if i had that much cash.

Ikr..Thinking of keeping one. With DLSS 2.0 I believe this card could stay good enough for 1440p gaming for another year or so.

Will this card be future proof for at least 3-5 years?? i wonder why the price of this card is going so down in the market.

for 1440p? i think you meant to say for 4K since dlss on death stranding can run even on an rtx 2060 super well above 70 fps 4k. This is a good future proof card IF Dlss is improved even more by nvidia and implemented in more games.

It depends on the devs as to how well they code their games. Im expecting worse and worse optimization until AAA games get hiked upto 70-80 dollars mark. Also with Intel and AMD joining the frey Im expecting studios to start doing lots of toxic 'gutbaazi' where they develop a game to prefer a particular company's card.
Finally with Google, Amazon and Apple coming into the gaming sector...expect some major talents getting poached to develop exclusives for these whales.

1 year should be a good guess. It only has two things going for it against mid-tier Ampere offerings and that are 11gb VRAM and low tdp

Apple is going to be a big player in the Casual gaming and you never know they might go for Pro. Though they have burned their hands at it once already.

Every problem gets solved if you throw enough money at it ;)
