Anyone purchased anything from myus.com recently? Suggestions for getting hardware from US

Hi

what has been your experience using myus.com off late or any other address forwarding site to purchase your PC parts?

Saw newegg but hardly any difference from offline shops after adding shipping charges.

Any other recommendations are most welcome

Edit: Saw this about India customs - so essentially no way to avoid paying bucketloads of extra cash.

Duty & Tax Information

Some countries observe a "de minimis value" for imports. If your parcel's value falls below that value, you do not have to pay duties on those items. However, India's customs laws do not have a de minimis value clause.

This means you will be responsible for paying Indian taxes on your packages when they arrive in India. These charges are not included in your MyUS shipping invoice.

I am using service of i2c world, they used to handle GEB (global ebay) in India. Rates are very competitive compared to others.
How does the customs bit work once it reaches India? For e.g. how much do you have to pay in customs for a graphics card ?

I send them a link of item i need to buy, they send me an all inclusive quote. We have to pay upfront, then they buy the item and then it gets delivered to your place via bluedart.

Can you please share their website link ? Also, what have you purchased from them?

If you can wait couple of weeks, I can also add my review of i2c world. Chetan only gave me their contact. Today itself I have ordered a mouse through them.
The mouse with tax costs $31.56 to their New York address and I paid them landed cost of 4052 Rupees ($54.14). This includes shipping and customs.
I searched a lot on Indian websites and I was not getting this mouse and buying from Amazon.com using their own all inclusive (shipping plus import fees) was coming to more than 5.5K so in that respect, 4100 was pretty good price and I absolutely need that mouse soon as I use it for my office work on laptop (daily usage 10 hours).

Newegg shipping maybe expensive but what you may have missed is that Newegg is shipping FREE if order value is above 23k. I was planning to purchase Sapphire 5600XT and Corsair 16GB RAM modules and the landed cost was coming to 35k as shipping was free.

Even with free shipping, how does customs work? Or does Newegg handle that (like amazon)?

yes, will wait. The plan to buy will materialise in the near future, hopefully, once I have saved up enough. As of now, I am in the info gathering stage.

Haven't missed it as below screenshot of RX 5600 XT will show you that there is no huge price difference but yes a difference of 2k -3k probably. VAT inclusive price will be - 28,312 . Best online price in India at the moment I guess.

The above model is available for $260 as part of the same sale on the Newegg America site which is 19,462 in INR. If you can somehow manage to get in India from there for a total cost of around even 22-23k it will be a steal deal I guess.
