This thread has been opened for people who want to ask if another member has a specific bank credit card as they themselves don't have and wish to buy a product wherein using that particular bank card may result in more savings.

For example, during the Big Billion Days or the Flipkart sales, HDFC has lots of offers. But not everyone has them.

Guys the republic day sale is coming soon on both amazon and flipkart. On flipkart there are offers for HDFC and amazon has SBI.

I have HDFC Credit card in case anyone wants to avail any offer on flipkart.

Useful thread I must say.
I too have a bunch of cards like HDFC, SBI, etc.
Not wise to list all here but can work with fellowmen in case someone needs any help.
Cheers

Can anyone share how does this all work? Is it really that safe to share one's card details with others? One who shares their card, do they get cash in advance? How is the other party protected.. what if the person declines to make payment via card after getting the cash?

Just a simple list of Do's and Don'ts is necessary for this post.

I suppose the terms would be down to what the two parties are comfortable with ..rather than sharing card info, it would be better if the card owner makes the purchase on behalf of the buyer after getting the full payment and shipping address. However then, in case of any returns/exchanges, the card owner would be expected to help out.

No body will give card details to other person. I have HDFC so if you want to buy something from say flipkart, and it costs 50K discount is 5K so you have to pay me 45K via Google pay etc and I will product and get it shipped to you directly.

AFAIK ICICI always wins irrespective of offers as it has yr round offers...
SBI comes second mostly for Fk sales as they sponsor it.
HSBC is the least when it comes to such offers and even if they come rarely it requires too much spending as if buying a scooter.

in past one year, I have found SBI offering discounts most frequently.
ICICI at second position, followed by Axis.
HDFC has retracted significantly from offering discounts for ecom. 3 years back HDFC was leader.

One silent player is Amex. Their offers are irresistible.
But they don't attract much attention as they have comparatively small user-base.
