My new home theater setup :D

Finally got my projector setup and upgraded to a 4k avr box though the old one apart from that worked fine.

Projector Epson TW9400
AVR Yamaha htr 3072
Speakers Boston acoustics 5.1

Will add more pictures once I get few more things setup groom furniture pov

Happy with the purchase especially the motorized lens shift and memory have been very useful. I didn't expect it will be that useful. Picture quality is amazing and I can't see any pixels from 6 feet+

Sorry for the poor pictures.. I didn't put much effort into them... Took them while the movie was playing..

May I ask why you went with projector instead of a tv? (Genuinely asking if there are advantages or benefits of projectors over ty)
Also, does the avr and speaker system have Dolby atmos or just 5.1 surround?

Bigger screen was the primary reason..I can project a 135 inch screen in my living room now...Didnt go for atmos as I don't have a plan for installing that in the next 3-4 years

Capabilities of the avr

HTR-3072 - Features - AV Receivers - Audio & Visual - Products - Yamaha - India

Dolby TrueHD
Dolby Digital Plus
DTS-HD Master Audio

Connectivity
HDMI Input/Output4 / 1 (HDCP2.3, HDR10 / Dolby Vision / HLG and BT.2020 compatible)

Looking awesome man. I too would rather invest in a projector setup rather than a TV, especially if one already has other TVs in the house. We got addicted to projector viewing (quality be damned), during college, where we would get to watch late night football matches and even play FIFA sometimes on the projector. With the level of immersiveness a projector offers due to it's sheer size, it feels a much better experience even if the picture quality isn't as good as a TV. One of my friends has a BenQ short-throw projector that he has been using for 5 years now instead of a TV and he loves it.
Also please share the damages for the components of your setup as well.

Yes totally agree... Gaming is a totally new experience on a giant screen as well.. I already have a vu 65ut tv so decided to spend on projector instead of a new TV... Total without the speakers which I already had put me back roughly 2.25l

i explored several options (fixed screen/ motorised screen) before finally opting for projector reflective paint.
pretty happy with the outcome
