Hi
I am in the genre of spy espionage mystery thriller
I have watched practically all the known espionage thriller movies tbh, at least I think I have..
I have searched Google, quora, reddit, imdb and mny other sources over a period and watched all of those that were suggested..

Can you guys suggest some great yet lesser known movies from this genre, I particularly loved the Bourne series, spy game, three days of condor, etc

So i have watched ll the related ones, can you suggest some more

Thanks

Thanks

Maybe try the older films? There were a lot made in the 70s/80.

Funeral in Berlin, Day of the Jackal, Three Days of the Condor

Hey! I think if you are into classics, or want to watch, you should watch "From Russia With Love" released in 1964 which is based on Ian Fleming's novel of the same name.

The basic plot of the movie includes James Bond willingly falling into an assassination plot involving a naive Russian beauty in order to retrieve a Soviet encryption device that was stolen by S.P.E.C.T.R.E.

Now I'm not saying Connery's second outing is the best Bond film of all time (although there's a strong case to be made for it) but, in terms of good old fashioned espionage, you'd be hard-pushed to beat Bond's exploits with SMERSH and super Soviet assassin Red Grant (a stone cold Robert Shaw). From poisoned toe-spikes to taking down a helicopter with a rifle cobbled together from a briefcase, this is the film that set the tone for Bond films to come. The best scene of course is Bond's tense after-dinner fight with Red Grant aboard the Orient Express, followed by Bond's pithy one-liner as he takes in the body of the dead Russian, "Red wine with fish. I should have known."

Although I am a little late to this thread, I would love some suggestions as well. I have been a huge fan of crime and thriller genre and I feel like I have exhausted my options in terms of good movies and shows in that genre because the rest has become pretty predictable. Recently I watched the Brad Pitt starer 'Spy Game' which was pretty good. I would love to watch more such kinda movies - I also watched The Bletchley Circle which I absolutely loved. All the Bond ones were also great - I am fairly new to this genre so I would love any kind of suggestions. I would love any suggestions that you guys might want to add in terms of crime thrillers, detective movies or shows. If they are available on streaming sites that would be a bonus since it is easier to find those content.
Watch
Homeland ( it's just too good, unfortunate that the have ended it after 8 seasons )
Pine gap
London spy
The night manager
The night of
Beirut
The coldest game
The Bourne series ( unmatched )
Catch these and come back will share more

Argo ; Enemy of the State, The Hunt for Red October, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, The Manchurian Candidate (60s) ; Apocalypse Now ; The Spy Who Came in From the Cold (novel is good too) ; The Negotiator (Spacey/Jackson) ; Where Eagles Dare (watch it for Eastwood in a supporting role) ; The Guns of Navarone ; The Dirty Dozen (kind of spy movie, more of infiltration)

I really liked this, actually.
Well i am a stickler to my genre so chances are i must have already seen what is being suggested.
THE MAN FROM UNCLE, was great.

On my part i just finished spy city and loved it. As it is i like dominic cooper, though in this he was sort of over board but i digested it as the premise was lovely and as usual the British espionage thrillers are always a treat...
