@red dragon Do you know of any cases/outbreaks of mucormycosis which occurred in Spain, UK or USA?
They had raging pandemic phases too, but I never read about any such cases occurring anywhere.
 
No boss, though I've seen mucormycosis in full blown HIV patients, never seen any in Spain.
I'm pretty much convinced it's steroids. Mucormycetes as fungus can grow anywhere ( just another mold) but it doesn't invade immunocompet individuals so easily.

BTW, finally Bharat Biotech is forced to release real study results of Covaxin, as most countries have expressed their concerns around this vaccine and won't allow travel with Covaxin certificate.

Bharat Biotech's crude attempt to make a vaccine may be enough for brain dead people @ ICMR ( most of them opened a textbook decades ago) but how do people who read textbooks everyday ( and simply don't believe in random articles published in journals including Lancet, BMJ etc.without all raw data) can give clearance to Covaxin?
I received an email from a microbiologist, who simply didn't understand what was sent to him and forwarded me everything ( I'm one of their statistics guy with medical background, the other one I know is in maternity leave)
Wish I could upload the bullshit BB sent. Thought I was missing something, sent the bunch of crap to my wife ( who's on maternity leave), she wasted the entire night...it's completely rubbish.
I sincerely hope, now the big lie around the Covaxin thing comes out in open.
They basically took some L and S variant of virus, added some BPL to the cell culture, added Aluminum Hydroxide Gel, TLR 7/8 agonist, 2-Phenoxyethanol and Phosphate Buffered Saline...that's it!! That's the vaccine!!
TLR is Toll like receptor agonist, 2PE is basically a preservative. These compounds are being used for years in vaccines.
Whom are they fooling?
Idiots like 56 incher, Dr. Harshvardhan etc. may be convinced by it, but it's as effective as Coronil.

A doctors' story from Bangalore ( copy paste from reddit)
I'm a doctor doing my internship in Bangalore. We're being put in covid wards for duty. I've done 17 days in the last 22 days with 3 days gap between the first duty and second. I had my first dose on March 26th. The second dose was scheduled on 26th of April but due to covid duty I couldn't go. Now govt has made it mandatory 84 days between 1st and 2nd dose and I can't get my second dose. Why should I put my life on the line when the govt is least bothered? I know it's my duty and I won't stop but it does raise red flags

But I just took COVAXIN. After paying 1400 rupees. Need to pay 1400 more rupees after 1 month (provided magically it is still in stock). Maybe I shouldnt have taken it? Now what?
 
Looks like it's just artificial scarcity to make money, vaccination centers don't have stock but all these private hospitals have covishield for Rs.900 per dose.

Actually there is a case in Supreme court seeking raw data of all vaccine approved in India. That is why they may be forced to publish.
But apart from the manufacturing process what about the immunogenicity data? Did you get a chance to review it?
 
Yes, Bharat Biotech is claiming effectiveness against everything. But where's the documentation? What exactly are they testing?
Nobody knows for sure if the S1/ S2 fragmentation happens in the Modi variant with beta PL.
I of course can't confirm it doesn't work. But where's the evidence that it works?
I'm not claiming superiority of one vaccine over another ( don't have necessary qualifications to predict anything without data)
If it works, why don't they publish proper data? If this simple vaccine works, it will save mankind ( very easy to manufacture and cheap in bigger facilities like serum institute)
