PC Peripherals Gaming Mouse under 5k

I want to buy a gaming mouse within a budget of 5k. I am looking to buy wired but I wouldn't mind wireless as long as there is no noticeable lag. I play mainly FPS games. Please suggest!

Personally, I have been using zowie ec2a for almost 3 years now. Basic, no frills, plug and play mouse. Chose that because it’s the most common mouse used by csgo pros(was looking for FPS mouse). Lightweight and no tracking issues. Only cons I would say is that the dpi presets are fixed(400,800,1600,3200) and dpi button under mouse. No click or wheel issues so far.
Edit- not ambidextrous, for right handed users, two side buttons only on left side.

Firstly, take a look at this picture and tell us the kind of grip size you use:

Once you know the kind of grip you use, you can select either one of the following mice:
  • Palm: Glorious Model D / D Minus
  • Claw: Razer Viper / Viper Mini
  • Fingertip: Logitech G305 (Wireless) / Razer Orochi V2 (Wireless)
Since you'll be playing FPS mostly, I'd suggest getting a small-sized mouse for better aiming. The Orochi V2 or G305 are great options for wireless, with the Razer having better performance, weight & internals. Between the D Minus & Viper Mini, get the Viper Mini for its compact shape, lesser price and optical switches. However, the D Minus has a better sensor.

Damn, looks like I'm mostly a fingertip guy; but depends on the size of the mouse I happen to be using I think.
Please don't make me buy a mouse now TE... probably will happen.

Wireless equivalent of the same wired model is normally priced at 2x-3x premium, so for equivalent performance, you will have to go wired.

Don't track this segment but Logitech G502 Hero is available for 4k pre-discount on Cliq.

Without knowing your grip/ hand size it's impossible to recommend. I purchased mine on the recommendations of Rocket Jump Ninja. You may wanna check his list.

G502 if you have a palm grip. Not sure about claw grip, but when my G502 dies I'm not even gonna hesitate getting another G502

I have a palm grip according to this image. Mostly everyone is recommending G502. I think I will go for it.
My question is will is it good for a palm grip and has anyone had issues with it?

Also, is there any good wireless option for mouse without a noticeable lag in online FPS?

Been using the G502 for the last 3 yrs, absolutely no issues apart from discoloration of the scroll wheel. It had started a bit of double clicking about 3-4 months ago but I fixed it via software. Just search "G502 double click fix g hub reddit", someone has documented it on r/G502Masterrace. Good luck!

Avoid spending too much on gaming mouse. Just like gaming chairs there is a lot of snake oil type marketing for it. A friend got a 15k gaming mouse but he later admitted using the good old Logi MX518 lol.
Wtf 15k on a mouse?! You could unironically buy a gaming chair for that much XD

There isint much lag in good wireless mouse , using g304 right now , previously had g102 , both feel same to me . I too play apex legends mainly
I personally dint like g502 , feels cluttered with a lot of buttons , better for rts or rpg gamers .

Ayy congrats dude. Don't forget to install G Hub and customise profiles for any application you see fit - the extra buttons are way cooler in increasing productivity than in games for me lol

G502 FTW baby, amazing mouse, but remember it's quite a heavy mouse, these not the most ideal mouse for FPS games but very comfortable indeed. I was hoping to ge the wireless variants but a series of bad crypto trades are leading me to bankruptcy.

I prefer the older version of Logitech software , ghub on my pc for some reason eats up cpu and internet randomly
Yea G Hub was quite trash in the beta versions and I much preferred the older LGS as well, but from the last 6months or so it's actually become quite good, plus per app profiles actually work better in g hub, and there are way more customisation options for adding button shortcuts and combinations.

Need some more information on the users who are using G403/502. I am planning to buy this mouse but I am planning to use it with my office laptop as well. Hence need to understand how it will behave if I connect it to office laptop without installing its companion software. What will be default button settings for the extra buttons and such.

Apologies to OP if I am hijacking your thread. I am still quite new here and exploring the wealth of information in this website :)

G502 user here. You save the profiles on memory and it will behave exactly the same without the software on your office PC.
