Hello All,

My son will be conducting online Math tuition for 10th class students. Can you suggest a good Tablet as an input to draw and write? I am looking for something like this.

What is your budget? Any OS preferences? iOS / Android.

I''ve been using iPad with Apple Pencil and the writing experience is next level. I tried a few passive stylus and one active one too, Wacom Bamboo or something (dont remember exactly) before buying iPad and Apple Pencil. Have been using it for note taking, annotating PDFs etc. and I'm totally satisfied with it. Personally I don't like Apple products much, specially because of their high price but iPad is their only product which I find worth the money, just my opinion. The entry level iPad comes at around 30k (WiFi only) and it supports 1st gen Apple pencil which is priced at 10k. You might get some bank discount or Student Discount (Apple launched some student discount in India, dont know in detail, google it).

Thanks for the suggestion but it is way too expensive. He is only charging ₹3K / month for 20 classes. He is not looking for more than 4 students per class. So, something like a Wacom only is in the budget (around ₹7K).

Does he intend to use it with a laptop/desktop?

Are you looking for something like this?
Yes. He intends to use it with a laptop. Is the one you linked good for the following?
1. Drawing lines and annotation
2. Easy to erase portions of drawing
3. Change colors easily (preferably by clicking something on the stylus)

I use a XP-Pen screenless drawing tablet a lot to write , draw and annotate for online teaching. Using pen tablet is a bit difficult initially as while writing on the tablet one has to look at the screen.

It would be much easier to write on the surface where one can see what one is writing in the same place therefore I guess XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro display drawing tablet could be worth trying for a new user.
