Help buying a binocular

I also need one for bird watching/distance scenery from points forts etc. but not so pro ones. Looking something cheap.

It depends on the lens quality and desired magnification apart from features like waterproof, fogproof, hydrophobic coating etc
Zeiss, Nikon, Celestron are all top tier.
Bushnell is good enough for amateurs, I actually have a brand new one lying unused.
Can sell it to you for 5k plus shipping if you want.

Binoculars are as slippery a slope as audiophile headphones. And, sadly there are no blons in binocular world. We get what we pay for, and good glass aint cheap. But, splurging aint worthwhile either, for you pay 100% more for every 5% more quality.
For bird watching you should be looking for something like 8x42(magnification x lenswidth), the celestron suggested above is 25x70, meant for stargazing. For 10 magnification and above, tripod is needed.
I dont have any recommendation, but for nikon around your budget, i would suggest you to research more about the prostaff range.
I would also recommend a youtube channel “optica exotica”. The guy their also records the view through the binoculars, it helps.

@Etype thank you for the celestron details. Yesterday, enjoyed watching moon with the kids. I wasn't aware of the fact, don't remember exactly how ended buying a celestron. Your post made our day, it was awesome experience.
