I m planning to buy a nikon. Any advantages over nikon for the celestron?Let me know if this works for you:
Can I have the details?I have an old Olympus binocular ( mostly used for concerts) , it's pretty good and must be within your budget.
A vary simple one..Can I have the details?
How much and model number?Think you can get pretty decent ones for 8-9K INR.

Binoculars are as slippery a slope as audiophile headphones. And, sadly there are no blons in binocular world. We get what we pay for, and good glass aint cheap. But, splurging aint worthwhile either, for you pay 100% more for every 5% more quality.
For bird watching you should be looking for something like 8x42(magnification x lenswidth), the celestron suggested above is 25x70, meant for stargazing. For 10 magnification and above, tripod is needed.
I dont have any recommendation, but for nikon around your budget, i would suggest you to research more about the prostaff range.
I would also recommend a youtube channel “optica exotica”. The guy their also records the view through the binoculars, it helps.
