Clearing stuff
I had a few odd stuff to clear out -

Intel 7265 Wireless-N Wifi+Bluetooth M.2 2230 PCIe Card - Rs.200/-

This was pulled from a laptop

Azurewave RT3090 Wireless-N Half PCIe card - Rs.100/-

As far as I can recall this was pulled from a Pogoplug

AzureWave AW-VD904 HD Video Decoder PCIe mini card - Rs. 200/-

As far as I can recall this was bought for the Pogoplug

Local sale preferred but shipping can be arranged via DTDC with buyer paying actuals. I can also arrange for shipping by Wefast locally within Bangalore but buyer will need to pay for it.

Note that I have not got any way to test any of these. Please keep the thread clean and seek information / contact via PM only.

I think I know where that intel one came from. I would have bought it from you with the laptop if I knew you had it. Anyways... No issues.

Apologies to the OP for going OT.
YGPM, I'm really curious about this thing.
So am I. Have never actually used these devices. As I understand these are meant for hardware accelerated decoding - largely used to offload this task on lower-powered/incapable CPUs. Don't really see much of an use case for these now on desktop/laptop class hardware, with the newer more powerful on-board graphics. Still, would be interesting to hear about what you use this for and how good these really are, in practice.

As far as I can recall it was used in the pcie slot instead of the wifi card. Then install Debian Arm and you get a cool downloader/nas/streamer. I may be wrong though and its been a long long time. Perhaps the old timers can confirm as well. At one time these Pogoplug devices were a rage and there were multiple Go's organized to source them.

From what I read these became redundant with the first Core i-series of processors.

I have a Lenovo netbook that I have an unnatural amount of sentimental attachment to, it should be a fun experiment to see if that can get it to work.

@ibose How were they used with pogoplug ?

I also have a couple of Pogoplug Pro's from some years ago, I had them as part of a mobile homelab while I was traveling, I really loved those little things.
