Budget 90k+ Need advice on a completely new Gaming PC

Aniruddh

Adept
I am planning to buy an entirely new pc with budget of 1.20 lakhs(can stretch slightly if needed).
I have nothing with me right now except for a dell laptop which was bought last year for basic work.
I’ll mostly be playing games on this new rig, some YouTube videos and a bit of music.
I have not played any games in the last 5-6 years and so, many games which I love are pending. like - GTA5, call of duty modern warfare 2019, far cry etc.(please also suggest some latest games)

I’m perfectly ok with both Intel and AMD setup and I’ll keep this pc for the next 5 years at least .
This will be bought from md computers locally as they have a store in my city.

Please do give your expert advice on this, I’ll be very grateful as I am not keeping up with the latest hardware. Went through some of the stuff and was astonished to see the price of the GPU’s

Thanks in advance

R5 3600 or if lucky R5 based 6c/12t apu's which are very diff to find these days
Some b450/550 mobo asus pro4 rev 2.0 series is good.
16 gigs of 3200mhz or above ram minimum
A rtx 3060TI around 45-50k(scalper price)
Antec HCG series/Cooler master mwe v2/ Corsair except for vs series psu's. Above 650w

This should be the rough outline imo in your budget, everything surrounds the gpu. This should be enough for you to play the latest games for the next 3-5 years.
Avoid msi because rma is crap and gigabyte psu's.

I'm sure everyone around wants to know where one can buy at this price..
pay 40k for the 3060/3060ti to rptech offiically and 7 k extra to the person inside rptech or other distributors getting you cards. My friend got one for 50k this way from a certain distri he found this deal through olx.some facebook groups by the name of j *** tech have contacts aswell for cards. again shit msi one's not actual nvidia editions

It won’t be possible to fit in AMD 5600 proccy with compatible MB?
Is there any possibility of going with latest intel offering at a more cheaper price?
Please do suggest a decent monitor, as I don’t have one.
Can stretch my budget by another 20-25k if needed.
Buy psu from companies who specialize in making them like seasonic and corsair and not from companies like cooler master or gigabyte.
Seasoning don’t know if it’ll be available or not but Corsair for sure is there with the shop wala. How is Antec compared to Corsair?
It’ll be great if you can suggest me the exact model for the psu.
Thanks

If the latest intel offering fits your budget and has the same specs and benchmarks for a lower price go ahead with intel.
Monitor depends weather you want for gaming or for office work.

Seasonic has stopped official sales and support in india.Corsair psu's are good avoid vs series though. Corsair rma is great aswell in india. I personally lean towards corsair but antec's hcg series is made by seasonic antec just brands it so going with that should be okay aswell dont know about antec rma though. Corsair is a good safe bet.

I would not recommend the R5 3600 given these are still going new for 21-22k which represents poor value. If you plan to use the PC for the next 5 years, and given your budget, I'd recommend you look into a 8-core CPU. The i7 11700 or 11700F paired with a H570 motherboard seems to me a better option. As for GPUs, you're out of luck.

Ryzen 5700X, Asus B550f gaming Board, 16gb 3200Mhz Corsair Ram, 500gb NVMe Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSd, Gigabyte 3060 12gb Graphics card, Cooler Master 650W SMPS, Cooler Master Masterbox K500L Cabinet
