Budget 30-40k Camera Phone - S20FE vs Vivo X70 Pro

Guys,

Please suggest which among these would be a better buy.
With Vivo I feel camera hardware is better but with Samsung I get IP68 protection (not sure if this feature is overrated)

Primary requirements:
1. Camera - For daylight and night time pics. Won't be used much for selfies.
2. Good display

I am not into mobile gaming so a decent processor should be good enough for me. For reference, I am using Redmi Note 7 Pro and quite fine with its performance.
Also any other phones (currently in market / upcoming) which I am missing out on ?

Any good offline shops in Bangalore which can offer a better deal than online ? (for eg: hubs like Nehru Place in Delhi etc.)

the price of Samsung S20 FE might fall further with the release of S21 FE.
Below 30k and it'd be current day equivalent of Poco F1. It doesn't have headphone jack though and one should add nearly 1000 for bluetooth earphones and even more if one is looking for good audio quality.
Thanks for the help guys. I was of the same opinion - S20FE FTW.
However, the missus loved the design of V70 Pro (and so did I). And then there was no turning back :p

Somehow the logical choices of techies is always overruled by normal junta !!
The heart wants what it wants. Hope the v70 fulfills your expectations. Do update us on the experience though. Especially the camera experience.

You can get the S20FE for 31200 also another option is oneplus 9 at 36k.

You've already decided and bought it so I guess it should be okay to post this. I was also on the look out for similar phone but for video with good stabilization. Let me know when the S20 FE 256GB is available for 30k and I will instantly buy it. There is a Realme GT available on the forum but over my budget.

Seeing how poor the availability of older devices of Samsung is in India, the phone will be discontinued before it gets to 30k. If you are willing to try refurbished S20 FE 5G is available for 34k and S20 FE for 30k on Amazon India.

Quick update on the phone's camera capability:

1. The camera setup is very thoughtful. I was on a a wedding trip and found all four cameras - Main, Ultrawide, Telephoto and Periscope to be quite useful in different scenarios.
2. Night mode is very good (both rear and selfie cameras)
3. My friend who had IPhone 12 pro quipped that vivo consistently shot better pics.
4. Though the hardware is very capable, the software can be refined further (not the image processing but camera interface)

All in all, we are very much satisfied with the phone.
Only downside is the Funtouch OS which I don't like but is livable.

Maybe try Gcam port for it. It has good ui. Do update us if you try Gcam.

You could also try custom rom like pixel experience for it. Although, it is understandable if one doesn't want to use a custom rom on a phone they just got.

I am using samsung note 10 and though it is a 12mp camera(some of my friends have 108mp xiaomi). The picture from my phone is liked more. They always ask for shots from my phone for sharing on Instagram even though their phone has crazy specs on paper.

Xiaomi phones are cheaper than the Vivo X70 Pro. This phone costs about 70k and is also legit.
Between Xiaomi and Samsung I too would definitely for Samsung if budget is not a concern.
