0-20k Best bang for buck Ram for ryzen 3 pro 2200 ge

I am trying to put together a light gaming system using a thin client using an HP elitedesk 705g4. I got an nvme ssd from here, and plugged in 2*4 gb 2400 ddr4 from a laptop i had lying around. However reviews say the vega 8 is bottle necked by the Ram and likes something faster.

What is the best best? (All are dual channel sets)
32 gb of ram
16 gb of ram
16 Gb of "gaming" low latency ram?
Or is the 8 gb I have enough?
I'm looking to play mostly 5+ year old games. 1024*768 Titan fall 2 and csgo are the most demanding stuff i have played , though I'd like to try newer games.

I would like to save some money to do spend on a decent freesync monitor. Current budget is 10-12k. Not a big fan of big screens and high resolutions.

You definetly need dual channel and atleast 3200 Mhz CL16 RAM. Acer 24" 165Hz monitor or MSI Optix G241

There are 8GB sticks of xpg d30 (3200mhz c16) going for under 3000 at mdc. Not the highest performance but if you can nick two of them to run at dual channel then it's going to be good performance for the money.

Just FYI, this essentially a laptop in a desktop form factor, and it needs ddr4 laptop ram.

Also the manufacturer recommends ddr4 2400 cl17 ram. I can see ram with higher speeds but their latency is worse. 3200 is cl22 and 2666 is cl19. I can't figure out their latency at 2400. Does it make a difference buying 3200cl22 vs 2400 cl 17 Ram?

Very hard to say without actual testing. One RAM has higher clock but higher latency and other has lower clock but lesser latency.

Ok i found a Kingston cl15 stick @3.5k. someone is selling a pair of used regular stuff here for 5k

Will cl15 vs cl17 be useful on a mobo that doesn't let you overclock?

If you're limited to the kinds of memory timings, then it's generally better to go with the higher frequency as you'll get more bandwidth, as long as the timings are not too loose. 3200c22 would be better for apu graphics than would 2400c15, if I had to rely on intuition alone.
