Actually had bought one of these with Echo dot 3rd gen the wifi connection/pairing sort of failed after 6+ months and I was too busy to get it replaced. Tried a lot of reset methods now it's just a white flickering bulb.

EDIT: It's showing in incognito and my other account an option to purchase but not in my primary account. Weird.
EDIT2: Something stupid happened and my location was set to France on primary account. Works now by changing it back.
