Graphic Cards White patch on GPU Backplate.

Hello everyone,

Today i opened my side panel and saw a white patch on the GPU Backplate. Can anyone confirm what exactly is this? Should I be worried about it ?

This is definitely not dust patch as i tried to dislodge the same with a toothbrush and nothing happened. Everything is stock with no modification at all. I also noticed this patch on my last GPU which was Zotac GTX 1060.

it could be the oil from the thermal pad, but it usually doesn't spread up...

Shouldnt be a cause of concern.
It's oil from the thermal pads under the backplate. Completely harmless.

Lol. I know. I know.

My PC needs a deep cleaning. But damn it's super hard to keep the PC dust free in NOIDA. There is always so much dust floating around.
