Yes I have access to my email id. I have also tried resetting the password but when I try to login with new password it still asks for code. I am ok with proving that Pratik.sampat I'd belongs to me by providing all documents they need.

If you use Authy, it lets you backup your codes to cloud. Next time, you download it on a new phone and sign in with your password, it restores all code generators that you previously put on it.

I had Google Authenticator and not Authy.All Backup code used..I have it saved but all used so it won't work anymore..

I am in the same situation (Main acc. username: RaRa). Having access to the email linked to TE account doesn't help as all other login options are bypassed by 2FA. So, in short you can only log in via 2FA once enabled.

because sidechannel bypass of 2FA defeats the very purpose. if someone loses the 2FA device and that allows unauthorized access, that is that person's fault. But there is no sure fire way for mods/admins to determine some unknown account is the same person as a registered user with 2FA enabled.

How would you feel if you get scammed by someone who took over a trusted/high rep member's account by posing as them, saying that they lost the 2FA token, and faking whatever "proofs" are being provided? Should mods take that responsibility?

Did you not take note of the backup codes that were generated when you enabled 2FA? if not, forget about the account, it's gone.

I need help accessing my old account too, although my issue is not 2FA, I figure posting in this thread rather than make a new one is the way.

My original 7~ years old account is secure locked and requires an email verification to unlock. Unfortunately I no longer have access to that email address (permanently deleted). I haven't been active here for the past year, - Yup, I admit its 100% my sloppiness here.

I last logged in about 6 months ago on the old account iirc. Could one of the mods or renegade help me access it?

coldfear00 account has been hacked its password and email id have been changed.

Please do not deal with or transfer money.
