Graphic Cards Will a 3080 work with my 750W PSU?

This is my first time hearing that a 3080 will be bottlenecked by 12400F. I am playing on 1440p. Can someone please confirm this?
There are many many articles in the net how lower end CPUs bottleneck 3xxx/4xxx series GPUs at resolutions below 4K. Just google

My friend has 5600X + 6800XT, in some games, he is bottlenecked. For the majority of games, a non-issue or just not observable as you might be running at 120fps vs 140fps maybe with a better CPU. I agree that 6700XT or 3070 is the max that 12400 or 5600X should be paired with before it becomes more unbalanced. Honestly, Nvidia GPUs are badly priced right now, so AMD is my recommendation.

I use RTX 3070 myself & sometimes annoyed by its 8GB VRAM, for example FH5 in extreme preset. VRAM is used by other running apps as well.

Small sample but consider higher bottleneck in CPU-intensive MP games like CoD or Battlefield:

Was doing a search, and came across this. I have this PSU, and am planning on getting a 3080ti. Is this a good brand?
It's an Antec Gold 750w which I bought in 2019. Not sure of the exact model.

This is the latest tier list -

My CX750F RGB is Tier B and Gold highlighted meaning best units in the tier. So I have decided to go for a 3080. You should look for the exact model of your psu and its standing in the tier list.

I was talking about my existing PSU.

Where are you getting a good price for a 3080?

What is the exact model of your psu?

Also, I am planning to go for a used 3080 as soon as I find a good deal.
I'll open the CPU and check

I think yours is a Tier A PSU going by the list. You should use PCPartPicker to calculate your total wattage and see if 750W will make the cut for 3080ti.

I've used that and it suggests 588 watts with a Gigabyte 3080ti OC 12GB card. I should be OK right? Need to see if the card will physically fit.

3090 running fine on 650w Working proof <-- Forget about assumptions here is straight up proof of 3090 itself running on 650w. remember the suggested psu for GPU are provided considering you are using the top tier overclocked CPU + max RAM + overclocked GPU capacity. if you are using stock settings with just i7/ryzen 7 CPU you don't need crazy high power PSU. My suggestion would be to get a good Gold rated psu from branded and well known PSUs like corsair EVGA etc probably from tier A list of psus

Thanks. Any idea if you get a UPS locally which shows wattage like the one in that video?

i used HXi corsair psu which shows power intake and stuff - if you just want UPS for indicating such stats then just get one of such PSUs. I'm not well knowledgeable about UPS so can't help there.
