Afaik, all consumer broadband have a limit 3000/3300/3333 GB. What's your use case?

Excitel has unlimited data but I have read they call users when you download unusually high data like 5-10TB per month.
High data usage is considered commerical use so they can disconnect your internet.

You can try local ISPs(LCOs) they do offer truly unlimited plans for users in some areas.
Difficult to find any major ISPs with truly unlimited plans

For the past two years I've averaged about 5.5TB a month. If I had more speed I'd use more.

I've been using a 40mbps plan from Airtel, so far they had not been implementing FUP, now they are. I had not changed the plan to 1 gbps because I didn't want the FUP. I need unlimited data more than I need maximum speed. Ideally both.

Typically such data is only consumed with large files, so I'd guess people use it for downloading,streaming or backing up data to the cloud.

Only solution: GET TWO CONNECTIONS.. from different companies... cause above 3300GB limit.. it becomes commercial usages... You know Business Enterprises.

Max limit I can think of is provided by BSNL which is around 6500Gb/month.

Better yet, get multiple connection from the same provider on the same MAC-ID. And just change your PPPOE credentials once one hit the limits.

Yeah.. it's INR5000/Month plan and in my area.. BSNL connections face various problems frequently. So.. I didn't mentioned it. Anyway.. It's a good plan but costly.

I use Alliance back home in Kolkata and I am on a no FUP plan. It is good as long as it works. Unfortunately their service has deteriorated so I may shift to something else.

How much downtime on average per month? What do you plan to shift to?

I was happy with Airtel until they started the FUP. Little downtime and generally constant speeds.

Couple of hours almost every other week. I do need to check the equipment once since there is some anecdotal evidence that the problem started after we changed the router and they installed the FTTH.
