Market Feedback WTS Suggestion

Hi,

Can we have a WTS thread, this is similar to the classified but only for niche items and only for long time forum members.

Reason, there are some stuff in storage and don't really have the time to take pictures and post images unless someone is interested in buying it.

Example: Want to sell audio interface - XXXX, if a person is interested they can dm and go from there.

If the rules are relaxed, chances of a transaction going awry increases exponentially. While long time forum members might be generally more trust worthy but there is no guarantee one of them won't go rogue one day. At the end of the day, any transaction is risky but not even having proof of existence/condition of product is like waiting for a disaster to happen.

I have also seen here some long time forum members active after a very long time. If sale conditions are relaxed for them now how to authenticate if it is indeed the long time forum member... Or his password has been compromised? This will lead to a whole lot of other problems and headaches.
 
well, maybe the new WTS section doesn't allow for posting of amount and other details of the item. if there is interest the person needs to follow the rules mentioned in the classified section.

What I am looking for is something similar to WTB section, so that I can just post stuff which someone might be interested in buying instead of it just sitting in some attic.

Effort is needed by everyone who wants to sell (pics, forum rules etc) and have been made since it works in most cases.
what you are asking bypasses all those and risk it too high if something goes wrong.

I like this idea but it will defeat the purpose of classifieds section. All sellers will start making a wts thread.
