JBL/ Boat doesn't have exact 90 degree cable, but slightly tilted ones are present. JBL is part of Harman International, which is part of Samsung I believe.
And Boat ones are just Chinese products, I remember you mentioned you are not looking for Chinese products.

If you go to product page on Boat, you will see the country of origin.
I found one JBL earphone with 90 degree jack, but its price is on the lower side, so I don't know if the quality will be that good. JBL is an American company from what I read, and yea, it is related to Samsung.
From what I searched and read, Boat is an Indian company
You can buy entry level iems for kz, like edx pro they are built quite good, great sound quality, and you can replace the cable in future if it goes bad.
Oh yea, I saw IEM earphones mentioned in a thread, and with low cost and great sound and build quality, I must say, they got my interest. Can you please give a few links from Amazon to good models? I found some in the price range of just less than 1200. If they last long and have good build and sound quality, I can spend a bit extra.
Country of origin doesn't necessarily mean the country of design - usually it just means the country it was manufactured in and/or had the largest value addition. Basically every item that's been mentioned in this thread is likely to have been manufactured in China. Most people aren't trying to avoid Chinese manufacturing (which is effectively impossible), they're trying to avoid buying from Chinese companies, which as far as I'm aware Boat is not.
You are correct. Many products I found have country of origin as China, which doesn't mean the company is Chinese. Even JBL, which is an American company, has country of Origin as China on its product page.
Boat is an Indian company.
No clue about Boat but JBL is really good.
I am using JBL endurance run , really good for the price. Clean and balanced sound with good cable and mic quality.
Water resistance rating actually worked as I once dropped it in a water bowl.

Yea, I checked out a few sites, and they too say that JBL has an edge over Boat in terms of sound quality, but also say that both make good products. JBL definitely has the edge. Boat products are more affordable, with decent quality.
The earphones you suggest look quite good. Thank you.
KZ EDZ! It comes with detachable cables and pretty good mic. If the cable dies, get a new one for 300 or 400k. You can try some fb groups, you'll find lot of KZ models in your budget range.
Did you mean KZ EDX or EDC? Because, there is no EDZ. And I think you meant 300 or 400 INR, and not 400k LOL. I must say, I am quite interested in these earphones, most on the basis of what I read in other TechEnclave thread about IEM. I might go for these. Suggest a few models from Amazon please.
