So i was running some VM's on my PC and working on my VPN laptop simultaneously and my friends dog(who has a cone due to infection), decided to play around yanking my laptop charger pouring glass of water on PC:eek: ....i immediately disconnected everything, removing GPU/RAM/CPU cooler/CPU.... let it dry for whole day. then cleaned everything with IP ...while assembling back i realized that my PSU and 1 RAM stick is gone kaput....rest works fine flawlessly (sigh)...so brought a 80% Bronze PSU and 1 x16 GB stick... everything starts working fine. But now after few days i am suddenly getting beeps stating RAM is gone bad but same stick works in other slot even the GPU started giving issues As stated here , i currently dont have a 2nd PC to reinstall components and check. Do you guys think cleaned everything with IP again will help(i didnt clean the RAM/PCie slots last time) , its a old rig with LGA 1150 so finding a mobo will be a tough gig as i am a recruit and cant post in Classified/WTB threads.

You might not have given enough time for the mobo to get dry. You should have used an hairdryer or exposed the mobo to natural sunlight for few hours or for 2 days. before hurrying to power-on stuff.

If that was the case the mobo should have given some signs right?, its almost 15 days after PSU/RAM swap and now i am getting errors.... i was playing CODM using emulator so the CPU usage was always 60~70% even 90~100% when chrome was open side by side

Not necessary. Have witnessed stuff behaving abruptly even after months before dying completely..

Allright today going to clean it top to bottom and post the results here.

After much R&D it turns out the fault is in SSD, when i installed it on normal HDD everything runs smoothly ,should i RMA the SSD???
