Was banned yesterday (I am still not sure why) and I am unbanned now.

Looks like it happened by mistake.
Puns already spotted you were banned and was lifting the ban before this thread started.

Missed the timestamp in one of the posts. The ban reason wasn't provided on login when I was banned.

You mean Issues in SEVEN consecutive threads. Your ban will say Rule Violation.
But now powervgx is saying, you have to receive 3 bans instead of just 1 ban

Oh damn, see ya 2 months later then I guess. The one I served counts right ???
But on a serious note, didn't think it was 7 posts in a row. I remember 3 of them.

Its not a bad habit to send a PM instead of banning a senior member straightaway, He might have forgotten any specific rule and since he was never pointed out he may have thought its not a bid deal.
For senior members reputation matters so if he is serious about it then a PM will definitely help. Repeated offense after initial conversation, A ban becomes mandatory because you are a senior member and was given a chance keeping your contribution to the forum in mind so now you have to face the consequences.
