How to check if Online Website is not a scam?

Guys,
I need to shop on this website.

backpacks-online.com

But cant say for sure if it is scam or not?
Price seems way good but not much info .

Is there a way to find out if it is reliable.

I think this can also help others too for other online shopping website. So posted it here. Mods may change it to appropriate thread incase not suitable here.

I saw this thread and was just going to put this there, but I thought it'd be more useful as a general guide. A lot of you may already know these, and more, ways, so if I've missed anything please let me know. Going to be using the website mentioned in that thread as an example...

You can get scammed even on a well known site like Amazon. When it comes to any online purchase:
  • pay only with Credit Card
  • if it's a lesser known site, create a virtual single use card and pay using that
  • PayPal supposedly has good buyer protection too, but can't vouch for it personally
