Yes thats true but If I am not wrong if open box delivery is not allowed then they offer better warranty and support. I don't have any personal experience so its just a speculation

Replacement due to wrong product/physically defective product is not possible if u have received the product using open box delhivery.

Couple months ago,i bought a lenovo laptop but the screen died after the initial setup screen, upon contacting cc i was told a lenovo authorized technician will visit and if he gives his blessing i will be provided a replacement.
The wait time for this was within 2 weeks,fortunately he visited after 7 days and the display magically came to life.
Take this as you may. I was overall satisfied with the service except the 7 day wait period but that was prpbably lenovo since they took 4 days for a visit after the report was generated.
