Low effort account with mostly one line comments in past + enclave plus + no selling record + high value item.
We just had fraud by someone selling 6700xt.

Anyone buying, better take precautions.
I understand the caution. Its a sealed unit as i said and if someone is in my city, id be glad to have them over before they pay. Ive never used this site before, usually sell via OLX. But since this is unused i thought this would be a better forum for this. This is no scam, i assure you.
Apologies for being that guy, but sealed items aren't allowed. Also, there are no name/date stamps in either of the pictures, with no invoice uploaded (required, if warranty/invoice is checked 'yes')

Hmm sorry for not reading the rules. An open box card has less value than one that is new. This one is acquired by my friend direct from a ASUS distributor (dont want to reveal whom but they are the national distributors). I had asked him to get 3 GPUS (all ASUS 5080 prime OC) for a group of gamer friends, two of whom paid and took while the third guy backed out, leaving me to handle the issue (of selling the third GPU).
Some additional details :

My friend acquired 3 GPUS direct from ASUS India national distributors (big name). Two sold, third guy backed out hence iam listing this. Invoice isnt there since it is yet to be made. B2C GST invoice would be made in the name of buyer. Warranty would start from that invoice date (ASUS India has 3 years warranty). If living in my city, you can come, check and then pay. My friend has a PC hardware store. I feel personally responsible for having him get these 3 (for my gamer friends) and hence iam helping him sell this. Any other details if you want can be discussed via DMs.

No one is saying so , but any buyer must be cautious.

Better understand rules and follow them, else thread will get closed. I dont think there is any exception for this, so if that is not acceptable you will have to sell somewhere else.
Recently someone had created drama around this, and it was made clear that that is the rule.

Also look at other rules, you need to upload pics with name and time etc.

glws.

can your friend get a quote from the asus distributor for 9070xt too. if so dm me

Bros iam no scammer. Going to post more on this site going forward. I like the vibe.
Apologies, I wasn't aiming anything at you. It was just a general comment on what had actually transpired.

You have to look at the bigger picture. There have been instances where trusting members have been scammed by low-level accounts, despite no obvious red flags. Hence, the cautious approach. There has been a recent incident where one person pretended to be TWO different people, at the same time. One as the main scammer who sold a dead GPU, and the same person using a different account, pretending to be a helpful advisor, trying to buy back the SAME card which he sold (using the previous account) for a lower price, thus pocketing a profit.

As for previous posts regarding rules, those were just to guide you so that your sale doesn't get taken down.

You won't find a more mature forum/marketplace anywhere else to deal across. That includes FB.

I know. Several people pointed me to this site. My seller is small time, he usually doesnt stock stuff. I felt bad cause i asked him to get the GPUs which he paid in full. Thats why i wanted to post this here.

Let me be that person "This is scam". Stay away or least only do face 2 face dealing with cautions.
Its not a scam. Uploading pics with timestamps and address. Just because one guy scammed another doesnt mean all sellers are scammers.

The address is the address of my friend's store. Anyone interested, ill share his full shop details along with google reviews. He has a 4.5/5 rating on google reviews btw.

I am curious though - why not sell it outside TE, you can sell sealed unit which as per you has more value. Any particular reason ?
You thought TE will be better for unsealed items, but that's not allowed.
Anyway, upto you. glws.

The ASUS distributor for this is RPtech btw. Along with techdata, these two import the bulk of ASUS gpus to India.

Iam not a seller. My friend normally doesnt stock GPUs, he orders and gives (basically if you say you want X or Y, he will directly get that from the distributor at good rates). I had ordered 3 GPUs of this, 2 of which got sold. But the third guy backed out and got one from the US, leaving me to handle this.

OP is dormant since 2020 (even in 2020 he was not active) and just opened a sale thread with value more than 1.5L.
Yup. I opened an ac in 2020 but didnt post. None of these prove iam a scammer. Like i said, iam willing to share additional details on DMs . Ive shared as much as i can given this is a public forum.

Btw whats a good place outside of TE?

olx ? Dunno, i have never bought/sold.

I have seen people selling on reddit. But better protect yourself too and either get money upfront ( which buyer shouldnt agree) or better do it face to face at home/ in public place / near police station.
Even that has a bit of risk as other guy could decide to get violent and just grab the item. Obviously very unlikely.

Or you can try via facebook. There are many market places, i have never used them( dont have facebook account) but they have admin method too - buyers pays middle man and once buyer is happy with item payment gets released to seller.

Maybe experienced members can advice..
