The laptop in question is with the model number 16-xd0020AX with 7840HS, 16gb ram and 4060
My primary usecase will be data analysis think excel and python for coding and gaming
If anyone has any other recs within budget with a stronger CPU do tell

Looks like a solid pick for your use case. The 7840HS + 4060 combo can handles data work and gaming well. You might find i7-13700H or i9-13900H laptops with slightly stronger CPUs, but the difference isn't major unless you're doing very CPU-heavy tasks.

Seems to be so this is the best combination wrt speed and non-heater temps I can get
