People using Jio SIM as primary, what is your 2nd SIM and plan?

I am using Jio SIM as my primary number. I am planning to get a 2nd SIM of a network apart from Jio. So, the only options are Airtel and Vi (Mumbai).
If anyone is already doing what I want to, please suggest what is your 2nd SIM and what plan as I don't want to spend same amount I spend on Jio (899 per 3 months) on the 2nd SIM.

All I need is some data (unlimited not needed) and although calling is not very important, but I am ok to add some talktime for any urgent calling if I ever need.
I am open to Vi also if it works well. It seems Vi has started 5G in Mumbai recently.

What's wrong with Jio's 5G? Genuinely curious why you need a 2nd sim for "some data". You're already spending 899 for Jio, 999 gets you unlimited 5G data .Why not just use that?

I have both Jio and Airtel in my phone with the intent of using Jio as primary SIM but since last 6-7 minutes I've not neem using it as much due to Jio network due to its poor performance.

I actually didn't need it but I need to use hotspot for few hours on all weekdays in my office area. The network of Jio used to be good here but since last month, it is so bad that I almost never get 5G and keep getting LTE and even on LTE, almost nothing works.

I am deliberating now whether I should port to Airtel or "try airtel with a 2nd SIM". I am leaning towards just porting as Airtel is also anyways a good network and I asked my colleague who uses airtel and she told it is good in office.

But I am also ok to buy a 2nd sim for trying for a month. For that, I may even consider Vodafone as there is 5G in Mumbai now so can try that as well. So, I am planning to get a new Vi SIM tomorrow (don't have passport photo today) and recharge using 299 plan that gives 1GB per day and unlimited 5G. If I find that Vi works well, I may switch my main SIM to Vi (was a Vi subscriber till 2020 or so).

I was in Hyderabad Fri-Sun for work. The hotel where I stayed had pathetic WiFi and Jio signal was non existent outside and inside - it was exactly between 2 towers. Airtel works outside great, inside was hit/miss.

Contemplating to keep a Vi/BSNL SIM as well, work was severely affected after hours.
