JioFiber blocked by imgur.com ?

Blocked on Jio 5g here in Delhi-NCR too. This has been happening to me from 2-3 weeks. At first, I thought there must be some error in the site but when I saw people hosting images on Imgur while I can't access them I thought that it was only me or problem with my browser but couldn't figure out the exact reason.

True. Jio is the worst ISP I have ever used. So much censorship, bad routing, even blocking legitamate sites like raw.githubusercontent.com

Blocking github? wow. That's surprising. I wonder what their reasons are behind the curtain. Thank god I chose airtel fiber because its been a year now and I haven't come across a legitimate website that was blocked by them (only pirated ones are blocked).

This reminds me of something else - about people who know computer-related technologies but have no common sense. The people who set up the bill payment system at BSNL must be among such people.

I pay three BSNL phone bills (it used to be five) online every month - one landline and two mobiles. Paying just one bill involves so many steps that it makes me grit my teeth in frustration. And then I have to start all over again to pay the next bill, including logging in again.

I've now switched to paying the phone bills through a bank. It's much simpler, although each bill still has to be paid separately.

Jio is one of the most censored ISPs with deep packet inspection, it is a wonder that they have managed to gain so much market share promoting free stuff, even though it is expensive than competitors.

I had similar issues when I first switched to Hathway as when Jio launched, they were sharing some of the backend but thankfully, Jio went in a different direction and I have had no issues after those initial months.

However, Imgur does have a tendency to not work for specific images on the web that I can access using even Socks proxy, so they are also trigger happy in blocking IP addresses.

Sounds like imgur blocking Jio, not the other way around.
Imgur was blocking airtel for years but now it seems to work.

Lately I'm seeing many websites blocking Indian (may be some other countries too) traffic.... and these are not big, high traffic websites, but smaller companies, mostly from EU.

The problem is that most Indian ISPs use CGNAT and expose the same public IP address. Most of these sites get several concurrent hits from the same addresses, which flags their systems and results in a block.
