Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6/VI) / Upcoming Grand Theft Auto Title

It's gonna be a banger. Best open world developers. I remember when GTA 5 was launched, it was amazing, for it's time. But then later I started to miss something, and it was GTA IV physics engine, the ragdoll physics. The cars and bikes in GTA IV have weight to them, GTA V is just arcady. I am sure it's gonna be better this time.

GTA V was designed with PS3 compatibility in mind, which I think severely limited its possibilities.

I would have to buy console to play this, cause if I wait for the PC release, I won't be able to avoid the spoilers, which are gonna be everywhere on the internet by then.

That's probably the reason for delaying on pc, people buy twice.

Spoilers are on the internet for everything. Unless you go looking for gta 6 stuff, i think its reasonably likely that you wont come across it.
Just close if any gta 6 discussion even begins if needed.

I did not know anything about gta 5 when i first played it on pc some years after it released on pc.
I haven't played any of Baldurs gate, Dragon age etc etc and know close to nothing about them.

Sometimes it can happen, some genius here revealed something about Wick 4 out of nowhere. But usually its fine and nothing to worry about.
Most of the time spoilers for me have happened when i went looking for some related info.
Beware google is horrible sometimes, it can give away info in their qna in the question itself.

If using reels or youtube shorts, youtube thumbnails, after GTA launch, means we are cooked. Unavoidable.

well, that i dont know. I dont allow any history in youtube and that has basically removed random suggestions for me.
Also i dont really follow any gaming stuff beyond scanning rock paper shotgun or steam reviews. So maybe that helps.

I think they will price this game $100.

Gaming was once a rich kids thing in my generation..then it gradually become affordable specially with steam sales and all and even console gaming became cheap with Indian pricing and all.

Now again it is moving back to rich people's thing.
In 2008 I was able to buy full PC including monitor for 50k and in 2012 for 75k but nowadays for just budget CPU, Mobo and RAM it's costing 40k and if you need full PC with monitor and budget GPU it will cost around 1.2k to 1.3k lacs.
If you want with 16GB GPU then upwards to 1.5k lacs.
Nowadays gaming is for rich kids only not even for middle class families like us.

I am slowly sourcing parts by selling and buying and saving and buying only since budget GPU is nowadays priced at 50k upwards.

Now I need to buy monitor and GPU but I changed my mind regarding monitor but GPU I decided to buy Intel Arc B580 12GB which is priced at 24.5k in Canada. In India this GPU isn't even available for 40k also.

Be careful with importing GPUs and try to avoid if it can't be tested by anyone before it lands in India. GPU is still a high failure part in comparison to CPU, RAM and SSD. I had once ordered an AMD gpu from the states and it was DOA.
Had to send it for RMA back to the US. thankfully there were plenty of people traveling up & down so I didn't end up paying for all the trouble or living with a dead GPU, it's better to purchase locally when buying a new GPU for the peace of mind.

Regional pricing for most games has gone to shit basically, just not enough discount for most games imo.
Game pass is fine, but single game on gamepass has say 10x monthly cost to buy on launch which makes no sense to me.
Maybe because people abuse regional pricing through vpn etc, dunno.

But if you stay few years behind, then games usually come down to reasonable levels.
Look at Jedi survivor for example, its ~600 or so now and fallen order had gone to 200.
We are also starting to get 90% sales on select games every steam sale which brings price down to reasonable levels too.

If someone genuinely cannot afford 200-300 Rs games, then i'd say pirate it and work and save and make money for future.

Unless you are someone who has to play a particular game and that too just after release, pc still has plenty of games at quite reasonable prices and we get plenty of games via epic and prime too. There are so many games.

Hardware prices, yeah esp new decent gpus at entry level of say 10k no longer exist.

Yeah the driving in GTA V is terrible. The cars are very light with almost no weight to them. I'd love to see driving similar to Forza Horizon 5 in GTA VI. After trying out countless racing/car games with controller, I think Forza Horizon 5 has the best balance between arcade and realism. Its just really enjoyable to drive cars in that game.
