Your Gaming Backlog/Progress Report!

Completed: Spec Ops: The Line (2012). Still relevant and gut-wrenching as ever. Couldn't stop once I started the campaign, it's amazing and horrifying at the same time. Wish we had more psychological horror + shooter genre, or anti-war games in general. Still feels brutal as ever after multiple playthroughs.

This game deserves a remake/remaster. It has the perfect amount of mad max vibes while being a totally different game.
Not a remake/remaster guy, I love retro gaming. Even then, I don't think companies today have the balls to pull off a remake of this title in the current socio-political climate. Discussing or even showing what US Military did in Afghanistan/Israel/Vietnam is tough stuff, and it would get censored immediately, even though the game never explicitly states real world facts.

This game, my God. When I first played it in 2013, I had no idea how this game would grab me by my acorns.

Done with watch dogs 2. Super fun and funny, Wrench esp.

Next Serious Sam Siberian mayhem. Was saving this for future if i get especially bored, but no more.
I have loved every SS game from 1 to 4 and also a platformer one.

Also, SS 4 had better music that DOOM :)

So quickly ! 1 week for a longish rpg from what i remember. Mage was very strong at the end with a few strong rings or so.
I haven't played any other bethesda rpg yet ..
Oblivion isn't a very long RPG. Main story + a few side quests won't take you more than 30-35 hours.

I also started a few days before making that post, and also used a few cheese mechanics, such as the lockpicking mastery cheese and getting the Umbra set at level 1 :clown:

ok maybe i meandered a lot into caves and such. By the end i had gotten exhausted of it, couldn't play the expansion.
Good game, there was a nice painting mission that i remember among other things.

i should play skyrim this year.

Couldn't complete Commandos: Origins as the top down camera and constantly focusing on tiny objects on-screen is giving me red eyes after playing the this game. Too bad but I don't think it's worth stressing my eyes over this.

Started Wolfenstein: The New Order (PC)

I had played this a long time back in 2015 but didn't go onto playing the successive Wolfenstein titles thereafter. Thought of replaying this again (have forgotten most of it so it feels like a fresh game now) before picking up the titles after this.

I played initial part of its demo, couldn't get into it even though i loved the original as a kid.

This one after the first 2 levels is dauntingly difficult. The maps are riddled with enemies (I mean absolutely filled with enemy soldiers to the hilt!) and you must take down every single one of them to progress. As opposed to Commandos 2 this game is pretty linear in it's approach. Taking down every single enemy gets tedious after a point. Most of the time you are luring a guard away with the Green Beret or the Spy's tools and then eliminating them. This is fun to begin with but then fatigue sets in. The maps are big and well designed but then this somehow isn't as much fun as Commandos 2.

I'm still in two minds on whether I should keep playing this or not but I'm worried about the eye reddening problem I face if I play this. Don't want to end up with stressed eyes, it simply isn't worth it.
