The GN one is the way to go!Oh this goes deeper than just the 5060 thing - just watched the GN one. It's a pity that this is the situation.
Nvidia become a very arrogant company who seem to think they can push anybody around and get them to sing to their tune. Glad Steve has told everyone what their trying to do with the media.
If that was the case, they wouldn't be setting up misleading previews with well-known media houses such as Digital Foundry (for the RTX3080), GamesRadar and PC Gamer (for the RTX5070), and Tom's Guide (for the RTX5060 8GB); or blocking driver access for independent reviewers to not be able to publish reviews on-time (because of Computex). This clearly shows that Nvidia do actually care about the media narrative surrounding their consumer line of products.90% market share + focus on AI which is maybe 10x gaming market in size and with better margins i think.
They don't care
DF did misleading reviews? this is the first I heard of it, care to link some source or the video in question? If that was the case, they wouldn't be setting up misleading previews with well-known media houses such as Digital Foundry (for the RTX3080), GamesRadar and PC Gamer (for the RTX5070), and Tom's Guide (for the RTX5060 8GB); or blocking driver access for independent reviewers to not be able to publish reviews on-time (because of Computex). You can watch the Hardware Unboxed video, linked at the beginning on this thread. Steve talks about it as a part of their backstory.DF did misleading reviews? this is the first I heard of it, care to link some source or the video in question?
They don't care about people crying and complaining, people will keep buying anyway. This clearly shows that Nvidia do actually care about the media narrative surrounding their consumer line of products.
