Looking to buy a pre-owned laptop for someone from the WTB section.

The specs I am looking for are similar to Asus TUF F15:
I also saw the same laptop on the Asus refurbished website.
It was around 62-63k and with card offers below 60k with a 12-month Limited India Repair Service Warranty.

After Donald Zuramp came into office and threatened China with Tariffs, Asus updated the price and pushed it North of 70k when it was out of stock.

How much should my budget be to buy something of similar specs like above from this forum?
Both with Bill and without Bill.

Someone told me that a Laptop depreciates extremely fast, so I am kinda confused how much I should stretch my budget beyond 50k.

Will 50k be enough for let's say Asus TUF F15 itself from here? Do you think the value justifies it? Kindly let me know.

50k will be a good deal for refurb F15 with i7 12700H + 4060 but I doubt you will get it for that. 60k was good as well. New 4060 laptops were overpriced, but on a good day something like LOQ was as low as 80k & something good like Omen with 7840HS was near 90k.

Exactly this.
This was one of the main reasons I thought of going WTB this time.

With 5060 I am very sure they are going to sell them after applying multi-frame-gen Jutsu at completely ridiculous price.

Yes, even if it is 20% faster than laptop 4060, the VRAM hurts. VRAM was the reason why 4070 laptop GPU was a waste of money in most cases, 10% uplift over 4060 with same 8GB VRAM. 5070 will be a waste of money as well.

Also, Nvidia is no longer using the same die as the desktop cards since RTX 30 series but still using the same name. Like laptop 5090 is desktop 5080 and so on till laptop 5070 which is same as desktop 5060Ti but laptop 5060 is like desktop 5050 which doesn't exist.
