Fans stopped spinning 1 WEEK ago abruptly when playing cyberpunk, since then using without fans (not playing games).
Games had 70c max temps and 60c at 130W after adjusting some curve settings.
Including fans with the GPU if you can troubleshoot and use them.

I have never done this, but have heard that case fans can be attached to gpu ( if you have the space)
So keep gpu heatsink, remove gpu fans and attach case fans instead.
Make sure voltage/Current is compatible. Or can plug the fans to motherboard instead too.

We will have high rpm case fans too, i have seen some from 4dot. But they are also supposed to be noisy.
You will need high static pressure ones instead high overflow/exhaust fans as we need to move air through heatsink.
And with above you can combine with undervolting and lower gpu power target to reduce heat if needed.

I only posted to give a general idea. I have never needed to do this and so have never done much research.
If case fans are not good enough, then hopefully 3rd party gpu fans might be good if they can fit the gpu and case.

I'll check this out, They are connecting on 12V molex, just like the other case fans. I think will need some way to turn them on only during games, else the temps are fine in normal usage, around 45c.

ok dunno, i use motherboard pwm headers for case fans, and those fans can be controlled.
If your motherboard has those, then worst case you can connect them to motherboard and control them through 'FanControl' or similar software using gpu temp as input.
Motherboard can also control them, but you wont get gpu temp as input without software control.

This will be noisy as hell. Much better to just plop two 120mm fans on it with zip ties. Along with an adapter for the fan header on GPU. (just check that the header can provide enough power, which it usually can)

Installed the fans. Asked them for a pwm motherboard connector instead of molex personally and they were happy to oblige at an extra cost.

Very satisfied!

They're pretty silent until at higher RPMs. I think it might be because I paid extra for the pwm fans, over normal ones which might be noisy.

How did you contact them ? I'm surprised they responded and did the favour because their amazon rating is kinda trash.
Also why not move the fans one slot closer to GPU? Ideally the fans are as close as they can be like in stock GPUs.

Actually that's the only PCIe slot available on my motherboard other than the one used by the GPU.

You don't need PCIe slot for it, Just unscrew the plastic bit that's "supposed" to go into the PCIe lane. I don't need their number I was just asking how just in case I might need to do the same in future. How did you get their phone number?

Without that yellow part, it was actually not possible to place it on the motherboard as the whole metal part was touching the motherboard and didn't feel it was right

Do advise if the metal touching on motherboard is fine, I'll just make them closer.

A metal part of it touching the motherboard wouldn't be right lol. It's screwed in from the IO bracket tightly right? (dumb question but i still gotta ask lol). If so then I don't know why its touching the motherboard as the IO bracket should straighten it. Don't bother with it then, not worth the risk.
Also whats the status with your sale now? Are you still planning to sell it? Not asking for myself but in general because this thread has taken a different route so wanted to confirm for others.

Where did you get contact no? I had read before that 4dot does take customization requests for other fan types.

They have some crazy loud fans with 4k rpm i think too.

So, I'll try to place them nearer with a screw, I think that's how it's supposed to work, but I was too scared it'll fall on motherboard. I'll post if I use zipties.

I have decided to keep the card since it's working with excellent temps!
I just wanted to continue the thread so it can help out someone if they're in a similar situation.
