As I had packed it well i initially had doubt about the damage at the corner.
You mentioned it was working fine when you connected to WIFI and you checked everything. Then you told you had shutdown properly.
The following are also needed to be considered.
1. I got the laptop and its capslock was blinking 7 times when power button was pressed.
2. This happens when the laptop was shutdown abruptly when bios update happens.
3. 30 days of warranty is given of normal use not if when bios is getting updated and you shutdown.
4. I came to Hyderabad on office work, took the laptop to see if it can be recovered and not to give to immediate solution also dont have tools.
In the above you mentioned "shut it down as I was busy", im doubtful if it was properly shutdown. Now a days bios updates are sent through windows update and there is no way to stop it for security reasons. May be when you connected to wifi and kept for sometime bios was being updated and you had stopped with shutdown
The bios got corrupted and i dont know if i can consider this in 30days warranty.
For continuously 2 years had been using this without a single issue.
Mods please go through this throughly, if im at fault let me know.
He had already mentioned it was working fine and checked all the things. @ajeetone please throughly read, 7 time blinking. If you google its bios corruption not hardware fault.

Manohar already tried it seems & i did try but its not loading/ powering ON. The basic area with which we could at least recover may have also been corrupted.
This doesn't work with all the HP laptops.
@manohar5321 the system bios got corrupted when it was with you and it may not be covered in 30days warranty. Im not a technician to make it work & only took the laptop to check if its something of a hardware issue.
You may have to get it repaired by yourself.
If there is not Post and bios is bricked, you need to hardware Flash bios chip.

So by turning on a laptop and then shutting it down properly it causes some issue with bios you're saying that a warranty will not cover. Am sure there must have been some other issue with this laptop prior to giving it to me. Just because it booted fine for one time doesn't mean the product is fine. It has to work that way consistently . And when a user says he gives testing warranty then what is it for. It's not like I took a screwdriver and went crazy on the insides of the laptop
For me also it's looking like a case of return to seller Otherwise testing warrenty means nothing. But I'm not technical expert nor setting rules here. If I recall correctly there was a similar case with @TechnologyHell where a gpu was working for 1-2 days then it got kaput and then seller have to take after intervention from @puns .
1. Weird grounding issues? Can you explain a bit more. Even if the charger is 3rd party, is the socket in which you plugged in the charger grounded?
2. It's a weird situation, if it's an improper shutdown during a BIOS update then the buyer is at fault. We can only get to know that with windows logs maybe the event viewer and update history. If the disk is not encrypted it might be possible to boot into Windows from an another machine

Both the party must try to solve it mutually. From a buyer prospective I want my purchase to work and a 30 days warranty gives me that peace of mind to buy that device.
For a BIOS update I think it needs a RESTART to initiate the update.
Whatever the reason may be 30 days testing warranty should cover it.
I don't see any exclusive Hardware and separate software warranty being offered.
Kindly discuss and resolve the issue mutually for the benefit of both.

Okay so I just read the thread.
The laptop was working fine.
But the customer had shut it down in middle of a bios update, which I don't think is the sellers fault.
Even if you mess up bios update on a desktop motherboard, under official brand warranty, they would deny rma.
Or if it's a phone, you've rooted it, and it got bricked under warranty, company will deny service.
Just because the issue was created by the buyer's actions.
Coming to bios recovery, I don't think there is any proper way to fix this, hp bios recovery, sounds like nothing, cuz think yourself - the bios is dead, hardware is unable to communicate to each other, how would you recover the bios ?
One solution right now is to externally program the bios chip.
I've done this for a desktop mobo, and it worked like a charm.
You just need an external bios programmer kit, download bios file, flash it on the chip externally.
Here the challenge would be downloading the bios flash file for the laptop, cuz unlike desktop boards, laptop makers don't offer to manually download the bios file.

@TechnologyHell it's the asumption of the seller that there was a bios update going on and his assumption that I shut it down abruptly. I shut it down using the regular shut down button from start menu and their was no indication from the laptop that a bios update was being done.
@drxthe socket which I used has proper grounding , am using a similar laptop for my office it has a genuine hp charger I don't notice such an issue with that one. Only the charger provided by seller is behaving like this

Firstly, Unless I'm misunderstanding something, the shutdown during BIOS flash thing is speculation by the seller. There is no indication or proof that it happened.
Secondly, on any recent system that supports BIOS updates via Windows updates, the process is more resilient than people think. Even if you somehow manage to screw it up, rollback and auto recovery mechanisms exist.

@StygianClaw true, i havent heard a single instance that a windows update even if it was for bios could screw up the system like this, if it were such a critical update by windows it would surely intimate the user or would install it upon restart, i dont think people at microsoft were so stupid to break an update midway
I would suggest @ShivamRaj to check if it can be fixed in a day or 2, I would still take it if it works as expected but anything more than 2 days I would expect a refund. If a laptop is dead after a proper shut down it is clearly indicating other issues, especially because the charger isn't original and he is also not the first owner for this laptop, And I did ask for proof of the new HP battery which was installed which I didn't receive yet.

Its not assumption manohar. Ignoring the fact that while the bios was being updated you had shutdown.
Sir please search google, why will the bios get corrupted in normal use. It happens only when forcefully shutdown. What proof the buyer would have recorded.
Do you understand what you are saying, the rollback doesn't apply when it gets corrupted. If you know so much then fix it.
As i told you @manohar5321 its not a simple fix or something that i sent in this condition. It was properly working & you also said you connected to wifi & checked everything. You had also mentioned that Fans were running at full and also screen was black. When this happens bios update happens every laptop has a way to update bios and if you had shutdown incorrectly.
Even you were in my place, you wouldn't have accepted the laptop.
Will give you back the laptop, get it checked with a technician who can fix this issue.

@ShivamRaj Its not a hard written rule that the fans spinning at max and screen being dead means that there is a bios update happening and if I had to deliberately push it on you why would I bother stating the fact that it worked on the first boot. And I informed you immediately about the issue and you mentioned to me that you will have a look at it when you are at Hyderabad, If you are not going to have a look at it nor take it for repair then why did you bother taking it from me at all.
