Hi, interested in "GIGABYTE EP45C DS3R + Core 2 Quad Q9400"
Can you somehow make sure the board turns on ? Otherwise I can just take the processor as I already have a LGA775 board. But I will take the board if you can just make sure it boots up.
I have this, it can support upto 7 HDD bays, more if you can add adapters to the 5.25 bays it has.

Hi folks,
I'm considering buying a Air Conditioner and on market visit have drilled down on 2 brands being heavily recommended which are Hitachi & Daikin.
Both have 5-Star rated 1Ton ACs with Inverter technologies.
I would like to know if anyone of you have ACs from these brands installed and...
The only Mediatek I've ever owned was a Xperia C, and over time the device just went bad in terms of overheat and performance. Never used a mediatek post that.
However, I have heard good things from people using Mediatek in the last couple of years
Hi folks,
I'm in the market for a new Air Conditioner with capacity around 1.1-1.2 Tons. The AC would be fitted in Delhi, to run in Delhi's high temperatures.

This AC...

I don't know about Pune but in my place (Delhi), areas which sell computer parts generally have networking shops which have these big bundles of cables kept for selling and they sell it by metre. So any such hubs nearby should have these cables available.
Though I'm not sure I've seen them...
Oh okay, I was not ware of that. I have never used ISPs like Airtel / Jio etc. I always go for the other local ISPs like Excitel / Comway.
In my experience, they have better customer care support and pocket friendly. And my COMWAY router+pon does allow to disable the WIFI so I've done that.
But...
It is complex, especially the initial setup. But it will save costs for the OP + is extendable to more desktops at the cost of adding another monitor, and possibly graphic card.
It gets advantage as all the memory is also pooled, so nothing is being wasted, if one computer demands more, and...
I recently gave new life to my 12 year old Intel Dual Core PC by turning it into a NAS !
Here's what I can suggest keeping cost cutting and my personal research
1. Case: Go for Cooler Master K380, it has decent cable mgmt, comes with a pre installed fan, has support for 7+ hard drives. I went...
I'm not an expert but wouldn't it be more cost effective for the OP to get a Server Rack , possibly with GPU slots, and then have proxmox on it. Then just give every device a VM and a monitor.
The server rack would also allow them to have a storage array with redundancy and a pooled storage than...
