Which AC do you have. Mine gave a live reading of .55KWh on 40% and 1kWh on full load. Maybe it evens out in the end.

Turns out it is not a marketing gimmick, the electricity consumption does reduce significantly. Buy a smart plug if you want to validate your AC. Check local stores to know about Panasonic service availability, in Hyd panasonic has a bad rep with almost all stores.

Got it installed. Initial Impressions Installation - 3/5. Personnel was knowledgeable but no vacuum and botched the drain pipe first time, called him again reported within 30 mins. Performance - 4/5. If you want the room to cool fast af go for Daikin or Panasonic. LG takes its time. Running...

My mom went directly to some Daikin Store in Miyapur. She is so impressed, she has become a lifelong Daikin Customer. Suffice to say if you buy Daikin, buy it directly from the supplier not some third party store.

Online has the same price maybe 1k difference, the feature page in Croma is just barebones, cant see if the model has wifi or not without searching the model number in LG site. I think 2024 stock is totally over, no one even tried to sell me an older 2024 model

An update @Ssreek and @k_m_Arya, went to a bunch of offline stores. Croma was wildly overpriced, vijay sales had best deal for LG US-Q19RWZE 1.5 Ton 46.5k, felt like we can negotiate more. Panasonic is not being stocked in Vijay and Bajaj due to ASS Complaints, apparently. Let me try posting in...

That is feature of convertible/inverter ACs. Running at a lower tonnage when required. Technically we should should be calculating using max power, but is that max sustainable power, we never know. How did you calculate the units used, do you have a smart plug? And star is not only thing to go...

The panasonic sold on croma costing 45k is 2023 model. For the 55k one, I am accounting installation charges also into the budget. Let's see going to visit offline stores this weekend will try to get free installation.

How was the LG ASS and installation? I heard multiple reviwers say panasonic cools very fast but daikin and lg can cover more area. Moreover LG has 2 different AC in the same price range and tonnage, one is online only. The online is better apparently. Can't afford mitsubishi :(
