So, I am building my first PC. Followed all the steps to the T but still the pc is not booting up.

Can someome help? Need guidance.

Fans spinning for all components?
Most of the time it's the ram.
Try using 1 stick only on the correct slot and make sure to seat it properly.

His mobo isn't receiving any power. No fans are turning on.
And when the power button is off, only switching mains is making an led light up in GPU.
Earthing issue?

At the back of the PSU there is usually an ON-OFF switch hehehe - did you place it in the ON position???

Check all cables are seated properly: please take photos (especially of the 24-pin motherboard connector and the 8-pin CPU connector(s)) and post them here.

Tell us step by step what happens:
1. I connect the PSU to mains: no response.
2. I turn on the PSU button: one LED blinks in the GPU
3. I push the power button: [no response / PSU fan spins / what happens?]
4. I use a jumper to short the power button header on the motherboard: [no response / PSU fan spins / what happens?]

Check all PSU cables on the motherboard, remove and re-insert them.
Trying this now.

All cables connected and when I try to power on, nothing happens. No power in whole pc.

Gpu red light was a silly mistake as I didn't connect the pcie cable to it. But it didn't help in getting power in rest of the pc.

Didn't get your 4th point. Don't have technical background. Sorry.

@Afxal
4th point basically means on the motherboard, there are two points called + and - power , use a conductor like screwdriver to connect them and see if power turns on.
