So, I am building my first PC. Followed all the steps to the T but still the pc is not booting up.
Can someome help? Need guidance.
Trying this now.Check all PSU cables on the motherboard, remove and re-insert them.
Yes.At the back of the PSU there is usually an ON-OFF switch hehehe - did you place it in the ON position???
All cables connected and when I try to power on, nothing happens. No power in whole pc.Check all cables are seated properly: please take photos (especially of the 24-pin motherboard connector and the 8-pin CPU connector(s)) and post them here.
Tell us step by step what happens:
1. I connect the PSU to mains: no response.
2. I turn on the PSU button: one LED blinks in the GPU
3. I push the power button: [no response / PSU fan spins / what happens?]
4. I use a jumper to short the power button header on the motherboard: [no response / PSU fan spins / what happens?]
Then you should start posting picturesDidn't get your 4th point. Don't have technical background. Sorry.
