ohhh very sad, as I know how painful the issue is and in all the time he keep consuming it with hope but in actual the stone keep growing to big.
The above image plant it's obviously not meant to work as this is NOT the Pattharchatta that have Medicinal Effect.
May I know what is his current condition and what remedy he is using now or used to get rid of the stone issue?

garden is closed now. will try to share pic tomorrow but I think it's similar to the one mzsa1994 has shared. A neighbor aunty in my apartment obtained it from her friend who was using for treatment, so she vouched for its medicinal properties.

99.99% people are using same pattharchatta leaves (Non Medicinal Plant) for up to 8mm kidney stone, some chew this leaf with zeera (cumin seeds), some chew with Ajwain (carom seeds) and some one chew leaf with Zeera + Ajwain and drink lots of water after 1 hour.
I think (after experiment on myself & reading some forum/website etc.) if he/she is first time kidney stone patient, than any stone that is upto 8mm broke & moved out easily with above as Jeera & ajwain too have diuretics, digestion & stone breaking properties, but for repeated stone issue person like me, it won't work and need proper & more potent Medicine or Pattahrchatta Plant that have Highest Level of Medicinal Properties.
Any one who have kidney stone issue, always keep Allopathy, Ayurvedic & Homeopath Doctor in loop, as we don't know when pain starts and need Doctor to control/manage it, if one can't manage/control it at home with prescribed Allopathy Medicines.

Recently my relative came to know about his kidney stone so thanks for sharing the info here will forward him as the size is quite small and doctors said it will be gone without any surgery. Sadly that wasn't the case with my gallbladder stone back in 2016, It was way too big and I was in pain so had to operate.
I got the kidney stones once.
There are medicines in Homeopathy. 1 is to crush it and 2nd to help it pass.
1 smells like pee.
You can get the same from any homeopathy store. I was also consuming a lot of beer.
Got rid of stones in like 2 to 3 months.
So the Beer removed the stone

Gallbladder stone too can MELT in Gallbladder with good homeopath/ayurved and even allopath medicine too, but Gallbladder stone NEED 100% & VERY VERY STRICT diet plus medicine routine and it should be small and should not causing unbearable pain or obstruct flow of bile and by chance if person have Blood Pressure/Diabetes etc. issue than one should follow Doctors advice
Yes, I know that Homeopathy medicine and it's name is Berberis Vulgaris Mother Tincture Q , here Q stand for medicines Potency/Power, need to take 10-15 drops in half cup of water early in morning on empty stomach and also should not drink eat anything for 20 minutes after taking this medicine. Newly form stone up to 8mm can easily melt or pass out with above medicine. But for old & big stone, no choice but to visit Experience & Qualified Doctor (either from Allopathy, Homeopathy or Ayurveda).
Either drink 750ml Beer or 750ml of water, if your stone size is 4-5mm and stucked in ureter than, due to pressure of water/beer, it will move down to bladder and finally came out with force of urine.
If you drank beer than may be due to high quantity of alcohol you notice less or no pain but with water you will notice high pain, so some (Beer Lover) suggest to drink same.
There is relation Between Stone & Beer, that beer can increase STONE + can make stone tendency (recurring stone) permanently & alcohol in beer may damage your Liver + Kidney
PS: Just a request, do not get Ultrasound Report from Kidney Hospital or General Hospital where operation etc. services provided, if you have options, than go to Special Ultrasound or Sonography Center , before than please check if they are not associate (openly or hidden) with any Hospital, specially Kidney Hospital. If any one suggest you for operation, than, if possible, get 2nd Ultrasound from another city or center that is FAR AWAY from earlier center.

I didn't knew until it was too big, was under impression that the back pain is due to my heavy sitting job turned out it was the stone. After detection doctors advised to wait till the swelling is over though I never showed any physical pain (Mard ko dard nahi hota
) but I know how was the feeling. Thankfully its over and I am 100% recovered.

The surgeon was a head of the department for Balrampur Hospital in Lucknow, Though he visited me in a nursing home and took only 10 min to perform a surgery which we expected from an experienced doctor like him. I don't recall his exact name right now but it was Ihtisham Siddiqui (or something else... not sure)

some more medicinal plant/vegetable found, hence posting here, it's called Khapra Bhaaji in Marathi, Khapra Sag, Khapda Sabzi, Satte ki Sabjji in hindi & other part of india.
It is Medicinal Plant and in ayurveda it called as Punarnava/Punarwa etc. and it's Botanical Name is Boerhhavia diffusa.
From few video/s, I learnt that they use young leaves only and do not include old & Big Leaves (may be big leaves are hard to cook or may have large quantity of Medicinal Property and may not appropriate to consume that much large part at a time)

This Capsule use by me and proved very good to expel/melt all kidney stone upto 6mm (4mm in right side kidney), in left kidney have 12mm & 5 mm (2 stones), small stone cleared but no effect on LARGE 9 mm Stone.
Due to mistake made in Ultrasound/Sonography Report by MD Doctor, 2 time with 3 months interval, BOTH time he did wrong diagnosed of stone size, that Big 12mm stone reduce to 4mm & with overjoy I become careless and totally stope taking Stonex Capsule nearly for 6 month and in meantime stone & pain both increased.
Note:
1] I here by declaring that I'm in no way getting any monetary or any other benefit directly or indirectly by posting above details/medicines. I purely posting here on humanity ground as lots of people unnecessary spends thousands of rupees on medicines etc. with no result.
2] If you have just kidney stone and all other parameters of kidney and your body is in Good shape & state, than do not panic, just take medication to control pain and start Stonex Capsule. Initially I took it for 5 months (1 x 1 after food). If I took any Medical Tablet/Injection etc. for any pain or other health issue, on that day either I skip stonex or kept minimum 1 hrs. gap. between medical Medicine and Ayurved Medicine.
3] Keep taking Ultrasound/Blood/Urine report after every 90 days or once in 3 month, till no kidney stone left. If possible keep a Good Doctor in loop, so you can take advice on reports.

Ayurveda Doctor's are now charging like bomb for anything & everything and I'm not ready to eat anything without knowing what ingredients are there they put in Kwath/Capsule/Tablet.
More over I found that they are associated with any ONE BRAND and if that Brand don't have medicine for your condition still that Doctor NEVER CARE to prescribed other brand and let the patient get precise treatment.
Few years back I went with one FAMOUS BRAND in house so called Vaidyaji (Ayurvedacharya) and he prescribed me 22 Medicines two times a day and all total was Rs.8000/- for 20-25 days and told that it took 6-8 months to get cure. I asked him for his fees, he replied we do not charging fees as we are here for Public Seva.
I'm not against paying fee to Qualified, Talented & Experienced Doctor, once Doctor get his consultation/prescription fees than, the Doctor should not look for commission in medicine, test etc. etc. and should not charge for medicine 4 to 5 times higher than market price under name of made by him/in-house & exclusively available with him (secret ingredients).
